I will agree that there are plenty of people left for Rampage to fight first. However I gotta think that Dana will try to set up a Chuck vs Rampage fight again. Chuck is the UFC's biggest draw. Rampage is getting extra exposure on TUF, I think he's setting up a fight trying to break PPV records. I say within a year we'll see it. I'd love to see Shogun vs Rampage, Rampage vs Machida....and also Rampage vs Wandy. I know how those 2 turned out in PRIDE but I'd love to see them in the UFC cage.

Either way, I hate when the put the belts on hold for 9+ months b/c of TUF. Rampage could have fought 2x already.

I think you're right. Rampage could have dismantled Chuck the way Anderson did Rich and Dana would still believe Chuck could kick his ass. Dana will give Chuck another shot at Rampage for sure, unless Chuck just looks awful coming back from his injury.
 
My prediction:

Chuck goes 0-4 and then gets a title shot against rampage.

Rampage had been out for a while because he hurt his hand against Hendo, but he could have fought once between now and then.
 
I think chuck should have to fight a couple of more fights b4 a title shot... and definately not jardine because he is going to get killed by wandy.... and believe it or not forest might actually take the title...

Forrest is a tough SOB, but I don't think he can dish out anything that Rampage can't handle.

I dont believe so... forest has the heart and drive over rampage.... and have you seen rampage in the Ultimate Fighter, he is not conditioned, he is getting chunky..... we will see!
 
Yeah, Page's hand was probably still recovering at that point. I could see Page taking someone lightly down the line. He likes to mess around too much.

Rampage has never quite in a fight. He has a huge heart and will to win as well. I don't think a win against an injured Shogun makes Forrest a legitimate, but that's another story. I'm not ragging the guy, but Rampage is just better than him at every aspect of the game.

i agree that forrest will lose if they stay on their feet but if he takes him down then i think he could take it... i wish wandy would have beat chuck, because that is who i would love to see fight rampage...

Rampage has tremendous wrestling (e.g. Vs Randleman and Hendo), so it will be difficult for Forrest to out wrestle him. For some reason, he doesn't get enoug credit for being such a great wrestler, but it is one of the strongest parts of his game.
 
The only chance I see of Forrest taking Rampage down is if Rampage comes in slightly out of shape and Forrest push's the pace like a mofo, and takes a gassed Rampage down. Rampage has excellent wrestling and he's just unbelievably functionally strong.

Word. I don't know how he got out of some of those subs that Woogie put on him. The slam out of the guillotine and, or course, the Arona incident are indicative of how strong the dude is.
