Libido Boosters (Not Adaptogen-types)

I’m looking for a libido booster than doesn’t also reduce cortisol like Maca, ashwagandha, and tongkat. My cortisol already runs a little low and further reduction actually gives me adrenaline surges that result in increased BP and insomnia. And fadogia gives me some wicked irritability and strong mood fluctuations. Is there anything else? TRT and E2 are already dialed in.
Thanks in advance.

If you’re seeing an Endocrinologist/Urologist/whatever-specialist, have you brought up your libido issues to them? While test and E2 may be dialed in, hows Prolactin? While we could guess all day, I’m essentially saying it may be something underlying that could be worth testing for.

OTC supplement wise that isnt adaptogen based, have you looked into Kaempferia parviflora?

Thanks for the reply. Prolactin is good as well. That supplement, Kaempferia parviflora, sounds great actually. Libido and fat loss?? Perfect combination. Thanks man.

Sustain alpha is a good libido booster for me... mine is usually above average for my age but taking that makes it almost annoying high at points lol... I’m not in any hrt though.

This is true. This would be a great libido booster and can really enhance mood.

Tribulus is pretty decent just for libido.

I like certain trib. This tribestrone from hi-tech has actually been surprisingly good. I liked analyzed supplements trib too :( RIP.

Also can’t go wrong with sustain alpha.

yeah bro, same here. Adaptogens f*ck me up big time. Ashwaghanda being the worse

I like beet root stacked with tribulus and carnitine . I’ve noticed increases in libido with this

It’s so weird. Who would’ve thought that ashwagandha would wake me up at 2am for the whole night/morning.

yep , I use to get delirium and wake up around 2:30 am and my heart would start beating out of its chest until I calmed down. Still felt as though I was in a dream state. Then , I’d fall back into an extremely deep sleep. It’s the only thing that made me feel lethargic and stimulated simultaneously lowering anxiety , yet increasing it 🤷🏻‍♂️. Too weird for me lol. Sad part is that it actually does cause major recomposition.

Yeah, I would get that too. And I did like the body composition effects as well. And whatever was going on would make my veins look like they were going to pop. Loved that.

yeah , the changes were so powerful but it definitely had some weird sides that I couldn’t deal with. Crazy you got this too. Some get energy, others relaxation and then there’s our Types that feel like death on adaptogens. Rhodiola isn’t too bad for me but I just don’t like it and not nearly as powerful as ashwaghanda for body composition

Same here. Oh well...

Nope, no AI. I realized a couple years ago I didn’t need one and my e2 runs low naturally.

I would have to look for the research, but DHEA could be useful if E2 is on the lower side, some researchers suspect that DHEA's positive effects in older men is due to its ability to help increase E2 levels to a healthier level.

Yeah, and my DHEA levels are low too, but supplementing that gives me nasty side effects regardless of route of administration.

does anyone recommend dhea on trt?

It really should be in everyone’s TRT protocol, including pregnenolone.
Agreed. Pregnenolone has greatly enhanced TRT for me personally. Clear mind and has a relaxing effect, for me anyway, which leads to a bit of a libido boost. Alpha P5 by Alpha Gainz has been a staple of mine for the last 6 months and it’s been great. Plus Rob is squared away and his customer service is A+.

rob is the man!!!!

i use dermacrine often, actually i'm using it now.
Sweet, I'm doing the trt on my own for now and it's been over 6 months. I haven't got any blood work but I feel quite good.

Really? I just ordered a bunch of your gels yesterday including dermicrine.
right on...thank you for your purchase.

iconic makes a bunch of great products---which one did you choose?

Has anyone tried sublingual or oral pregnenolone? I know it’s not as effective, but did it actually feel different, if so? I hate transdermals; they aren’t an option.

I’m sure you’re aware of most of these, but I’ll be the one to point out the obvious bases that you’ve probably already covered - zinc, magnesium, butea superba, sunflower lecithin, pycnogenol, citrulline (or any vasodilators), and fenugreek come to mind.

I'm currently trying Tribulus for PCT and it doesn't make any difference for me, but my cycle was quite suppressive. Mucuna pruriens works well for me but I won't use L-Dopa long term.
