LGI TRENAVAR- Cap left off bottle

okay so me and my buddy are moving out our apartment and he found an opened bottle of TVAR. The caps are a little bit hard but no discoloration or weird smell. He had a paper towel stuffed in the top. Expiration date is 2016, which I was shocked about. Anyhow, I have a bottle of Iron Legion Triumphalis that I was gunna run come Tuesday, but I have never ran TVAR and I really wanted to try it.

Question is- would there be any dangers running this since it has been sitting in a closet with no cap on it? Thx bros. Mike
 
As long as it was stored at a really dry place the whole time there shouldn't be a problem.

Wait. So in an open bottle? Not just unsealed but not closed the whole time?
In that case throw it away to be safe.
 
Correct- so it was in a dark closet, just a paper towel stuffed in the top, no cap was on it. What do you think? I really wanted to try TVAR but I dont want to take chances. Caps are a little hard. Thanks Bun.
 
The caps beeing hard indicates the got a little water in it (and dryed out again). But water means that there could me mold what can be potentielly dangerous.
