Anyway, I'm beyond happy with the LGD experience I've had and hope I can maintain strength through PCT.. it's been an awesome run for sure!!

How do I go about doing a deload? I think I'm a lil fried from doing deads like I have.. (you were right Brandaddy lol).

Should I continue heavy deads 2x/week during PCT? How do you guys train after a cycle when ya know you need to slow down a lil?
 
does anyone know if i can stack LGD with Spartan Mass? Can Spartan Mass be used as a test base too or not? it has Androsterone and Super-19DHEA.....

and with P-mag?

I almost didn't go to the gym today due to being unmotivated but my PA came this afternoon so I got stoked and popped in for a quick session. It was a nice slow workout..

Personally, what I would do is, on your big lifts go off a percentage based program. As far as lighter accessory work, I wouldn't be too anal about it, just don't go all out doing 50 sets to failure of a bunch of accessory work.

Say you do,

Monday: bench (chest and tri's)
Tuesday: squats (legs)
Wednesday: deadlifts (back and bi's)
Repeat

On one day take 75% of your 1rm and do 8 reps for bench and squats, 6 for deads. Then later in the week on the second half of the split, do 85% of your 1rm for 4 reps on squats and bench, 3 reps on deadlifts. Personally I prefer to switch my accessory rep ranges also, doing 12-15 reps on the lighter days, and 8-10 reps on the heavy days. Also, try not to go to failure in every set with accessory work, instead make the workout more difficult by resting only 15-30 seconds in between sets.

Every week instead of bumping up the weight, just add a set to your exercises. Basically does the same thing to your cns as adding more weight, but it can be better for hypertrophy and make it a little harder to burn yourself out. So say your first week you start out pretty low on volume, only doing two sets on each of the bigger exercises, the next week you'll do 3, then the next 4, and you'll finish off your pct doing 5 sets of each. So don't get upset if the first couple weeks are easy, because by week 4 the volume is going to be high and you'll definitely be feeling it. Lol.

My wife has entered the "nesting phase" of her pregnancy and has a bunch of projects I've got to get done this weekend; I rushed my back workout which I'm actually happy I did cause I've got a sh1t ton of yard work to do today. Anyway, I love the Muscletech phospha/plasma stack... got a great lat pump which might be my favorite muscle group to get pumped.

I decided to run K1ng's Blood instead of Ar1macare/Reduce XT for PCT. I'm going to try and get labs done as soon as I enter PCT and will get them done again 8-12 wks later to see how I look. I shoulda listened to NewAgeMayan and YoungBodyBuil by getting pre-cycle labs to get a baseline but I'm stupid like that.

A big problem with getting labs is that I live in the middle of fcking nowhere.. I'm literally 45mins from town (Cody Wy)... so I got to do my research and might have to drive 2hrs to get labs done in Montana... if I get labs done I'll post them.

I'm going to keep the log going through PCT to get advice as things happen..

Chest was on fire today and I'm finally getting a better mind/muscle connection with my pecs.. I've been doing twisting DB presses every other set, which really seems to activate a larger area of my chest. I love em...

I wanted to prioritize training the brachioradialis when doing arms today and was burnt by the time I hit preachers. Got a sick pump and my bicep vein is popping.

I'm noticing that my appetite is getting back to normal and I'm forcing myself to eat more at times. I took a waist measurement this morning and I'm at 35" so I've put 3" on my waist. Although this sucks, I'm not convinced it's all fat cause strangely, my clothes fit the same and it doesn't look like my gut is getting bigger. I think I've put a little more mass on my back and glutes... anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing we're I'm at after PCT...

Today was my last workout in cycle so I tried to really hit my back hard. I wanted to work my shoulders after but I felt a sharp pain on my right shoulder blade when doing deadlifts... I tried to do a set of behind the back BB shrugs and I could really feel a sharp tearing sensation so I called it. Anyway, my shoulder feels good at the moment so I hope I didn't injure anything.

I begin PCT tomorrow and don't really know what to expect. Hopefully I don't get crazy fatigue and can keep motivated and train with the same intensity.
 
Day 66. Rest day

I began PCT and have some diet questions for ya'll... so I've been eating ~3,000 kcals on this cycle and wanted to know if I should continue eating like that through PCT or cut kcals down.. obviously, 3,000 kcals puts me in a surplus and I'm not in an anabolic state anymore so it's prob gonna result in fat gain right? Now if I drop to maintenance kcals, I'd be cutting like 800 kcals overnight.. would this be a shock to my body, which is already going to be in an unbalanced state?
NewAgeMayan YoungBodyBuil... any suggestions?
 
Long term goal is gain more LBM. I'd like to trim a lil fat after PCT..

The safest and easiest thing to do would be to hold your current kcal intake during PCT, then gradually drop it after.

I dont think its impossible to successfully start a cut during PCT, but the mantra of not doing so is, again, safest and easiest.
 
Gotcha. I was actually thinking of more trying to recomp in PCT.. this "recomp cycle" ended up being a bulk with the crazy appetite LGD gave me.. Ive actually got to put forth effort getting 3,000 kcals these days. Lol.

You mentioned recomping earlier. Recomping as a natty/off-cycle can be slooow, and can feel like wheel-spinning. My suggestion would be to save recomping for on-cycle. If you think you can get your head around it, Id actually recommend running a slight kcal surplus off-cycle, just enough to encourage anabolism but minimal waist growth...Id at least consider this tactic until youre up around another 15lbs?

I told him over the phone as well not to cut calories. Especially after adding 18 pounds of mass, would be sacrificing gains and just taking a step backwards if anything he should further his bulk and save a cut for when he can go all out on a cut

Oh sorry man, I was talking big picture/long term, like over 18mnths. So, at least another 1 or 2 cycles. I get youll probably want to cut during that time, but dunno if youd need to IF you keep bodyfat reasonable.

Clem will be nice to preserve muscle and lose fat depending on diet, I totally forgot about clen.
 
I was always told albuterol is more side friendly, helps with burning fat just as good, helps recover your lipids faster, and improves performance better than clen? Since it's his first time using it, wouldn't albuterol be better just in terms of a shorter half life anyways?

Just throwing this out there, I have zero experience with either, everything I know is just what I heard from fellow bros.

Clen is better for fat burning but albuterol is basically almost as good except more side effect friendly since it isn't as strong. I did albuterol once but I hate having to dosing it 3 times a day which cost more money to raise the dose and/or to even have a 8 week cycle.

I had horrible night sweats last night... I woke up around 2 am and my bed and pillow was soaking wet.

I've been feeling pretty good other than that.. one small thing I've noticed is that it seems my resting heart rate remains elevated for an hour or so after lifting. I'm also a little slow waking up in the morning and procrastinate getting to the gym, but once I start lifting I'm quick to get in the zone... this was going on the last week of my cycle too, so not really a new change.

I was happy hitting those reps on barbell declines.. I was starting to get a little fatigued by the time I hit them so it seems my strength is maybe improving a little... I'm also loving cable rope curls; it seems to be getting my arms more vascular. Good workout today, all in all.

I think I did something to my right subscapularis muscle doing deads last week.. I had a tearing sensation on the eccentric portion of the lift and my right shoulder blade has been bugging me off and on. After working chest yesterday, i was having difficulty raising my right arm overhead. Anyway, it feels much better today and I thought I'd take a break from shrugs and deads and work with lighter weights.

Ive noticed that my lats are lagging from both a strength and physique standpoint. I need to be more consistent with training them.

It seems like I'm getting a lil leaner.. Idk if I'm just losing some of the bloat I had on cycle or what the deal is but my weight seems to be dropping a lil and Im seeing more vascularity in my arms and chest..
 
Day 70. 182. Rest day.

Feeling and looking a little leaner as I'm losing some of this bloat. Some sides I've been getting include BP issues, restlessness, hair loss, hot flashes, and night sweats. I think the restlessness at night and waking feeling kinda wired might indicate a cortisol spike... I've just been feeling wound up and need to relax a lil. I'm taking ACP and am waiting on my order of K1ng's Blood to arrive. After talking to YoungBodyBuil yesterday, I'm also ordering some exemstane tomorrow to start dosing e3d to control the hot flashes and e sides I'm getting...

Emotionally I'm good to go and in great spirits with an amazing sense of well-being. My libido is starting to come back as well and I'm getting a slight temper, or general impatience.

Yeah hard time waking up, low motivation.. early warning signs of estrogen getting high please get that Asin ASAP.
 
I've heard combining SERMs can bring more side effects and isn't really necessary but can also be better to bring you to homeostasis. I personally don't think 2 SERMs are necessary but bloods will truly show whether or not I'm right or wrong.

I actually started dosing nolva this morning.. I was just running clomid at 50mg. I hope the nolva will help control estrogen...

I also started taking Alphamax XT a couple days ago to help with cortisol. I can tell that I've got elevated levels.

I'm feeling pretty good this morning and am going to go an do deadlifts and back in a couple hours.. hopefully I'm overcoming the lethargy

I'm surprised by how much better I'm feeling today!! Idk if I was getting over the lethargy/lack of motivation or if it's related to starting Nolvadex. Thanks YoungBodyBuil for convincing me to dose the nolva...

I'm a little pissed about an order of K1ng's Blood that still hasn't shipped.. I ordered it last week. I'm outta Ar1macare so I have no additional supports except for Alphamax XT which I wanted to use after I was done with the SERMS.. I'm basically only using it for cortisol control which is a total waste of $ but whatever

So as you can see the only sides I've got at the moment is being a cry baby.

Gonna hit chest and arms tomorrow.. I'm thinking of testing my 1RM on bench again cause I'm sure I can beat 245... we'll see.

Last I knew KB wasn't shipping until end of 3rd week or 4th week of October.

I struggled to get 245 today but got it... I should have warmed up more but was in a hurry cause I hit the gym during lunch. I didnt even attempt 265..

I've noticed that I'm getting a little softer feeling in my arms. Idk if it's cause I was use to the epiandro or what but my muscles don't feel as dense.

Anyway, my energy etc is back but I'm clearly out of cardio shape as I'm noticing that I'm getting winded easier. After PCT I will start hitting the elliptical again.
