~Let's Talk About LOST~

Yeah, good catch on the orderly. I could have sworn it was Eko's brother. But you're right.

Also good catch whether you knew it or not on the entrance coordinates to the island. Notice how they always put emphasis on a very specific compass coordinate to get to/from the island. On multiple occasions they say "don't deviate from that no matter what". Has to have some bearing (no pun intended) on what is about to happen with Locke moving the island.

LOL sorry about that man! Bobo changes his name so many times I just thought this was his latest!

Yes the entrance coordinates will most likely be changed through some magnetic interference. I have no idea about Locke drawing the smoke monster though, maybe he is Jacob!

you leave when? Lost is almost over, 2 more episodes left, one of which is the 2 hour finale! That's a pretty keen eye you got there about the black guy working for whidmoore! The good and evil theme has been rampant throughout the show! Nice catch!

I leave on Wednesday :( I can't believe I'm gonna have to wait that long for 2 episodes!!!

I'm not sure how I would obtain them up there. I guess I could go to a computer cafe in Anchorage or something. I'll probably end up just having to wait though... :(

haha, nice. Well do it for the final 2 episodes! Man, it sucks that in a few weeks we gotta wait another year for the next season! WAAAAAYYYYY too short of a season. Each season shoudl be 48 episodes!!! lol. Damn it I am addicted!

I won't have internet service up there!!! No matter what it's gonna be awhile before I see the next 2 episodes, but if I can get to Anchorage on a weekend - I'm gonna find a way!!!

Watch lost together, die alone

Well Hurley, good luck up there man, sucks you are gonna be gone though for that long! My dad was up there 26 or so years ago, right around whne I was born. He was the lead geologist that led the digging for oil up there. He was gone for 6 months straight at a time, came back for my birth for a day, then had to go back for another 6 months. He said itgets crazy there, night for half the year, and EXTREMELY COLD, so cold that if you stay outside for longer than a minute you will die.

If all else fails and you really need to watch some episodes, just call Whidmore and have him time travel you around so you can see them.

Yemmi was not the one who visited Locke and Hurley in the hospitals, it was a different guy completely. They look similar though. Walt could be dead in the future though, I do like that catch about the ghosts of all the dead are the ones that visit the people on the island. But remember, Walt has special powers, as shown in the first season, something to do with making things happen simply by thinking about it.

Hate to quote an old post but I was just skimming over this thread and saw this post... and I thought about something else. Why is it again that Michael can't die? No matter how many times he or anyone else has tried, he just won't die.

Because Tom (the gay guy) said that the Island was not done with him yet, and it still had much work for him to do before his time is done. Remember Tom did not die either I guess, and Tom said the island only lets people die when it is done using them for whatever reason. Makes most of the deaths on the island make sense. Michael's mission is to spy for Ben and probably something else since the gun wouldn't fire on him last episode. Supposedly some people are supposed to die his next episode (episode 100). It is going to be the biggest episode to date so says the producers.

So is Walt f'ed up like Desmond was? 'Travelling' back and forth?

Bump for tonight!! Xodus, I think they are similar but Walt has the power for some other reason, he was born with it where as Desmond aquires it.

Honestly, I liked last night's episode but I feel it was hyped up a little more than it deserved...it was kind of a let down. We already knew most of what they told us last night.

I was going to say the same thing. WAY over hyped. They said "biggest episode yet", that was a bun h of bull. That was episode 100 of the series btw. Usually the 100th episode of any show is a special show.LOST, however, was not. Bg let down for me. Only parts I enjoyed watching were the ones with Ben.

And on top of it all, they make us wait 2 weeks for the season finale. Boooooooooooooooo.

I was wrong about one thing though, I had suspected that they would leave us at the season finale with them getting off the island but they flashed forward on this episode to show them in the coast guard plane getting off and revealed the story behind the Oceanic 6. Lots left open there though... like, what happens to Jin? Sun says he dies, but does he? Do those who dont make it off the island stay on the island, or do they get killed by the militants? The militants have orders to burn the whole island. So, there's still a lot left in the open.

What I am more "concerned" about is the HUGE stack of explosives on the rescue ship! I wonder if that is how some of them end up dying, like Jin, and thats why there is only 6 left. I am sure some are still on the island, but the explosives are there for a reason, and the producers don't just leave explosives without blowing them up! something tells me that when Locke ad Ben get out of there situation with Keamy the boat is going to go to hell and people will die, probably going to leave us hanging for a year to confirm who did die!!! Damn you LOST!!!!!!

I didn't mind sweaty Kate running.

And the boob shot of her in the jungle, that was so nice, almost thought the producers might let something slip... it would have been nice. Damn, she needs to do Playboy, or make a film wth Peter North!!!

I don't think they'll blow up the boat. Sun is already on the freighter and she's one of the Oceanic 6.

So, wait a minute here, as I'm typing this I'm thinking about something... tell me if i'm right or wrong. Sun is on the freighter and she has Aaron, right? Then didn't they show Sawyer carrying the baby later in the episode? Or did he give Aaron to someone to take to the beach and give to Sun earlier in the episode? I forget.

Yes, Sawyer gave Aaron to Kate to take back to the beach. Kate then gave him to Sun, <hot and sweaty Kate running scene> and headed back into the jungle with Jack.

Ah, ok, must have missed or forgotten about that. They are all too separated right now for anything significant to happen with the explosives in the beginning of the finale, so you're right - they may do something at the end of the episode and use it as the cliffhanger. Right now, Jack, Kate, and Sayid are on the Island and Sun and Aaron are on the freighter. I forget where Hurley is right now, but regardless, since they're all part of the 6, it wouldn't make sense for them to blow up the freighter right now. The survivors would all need to be physically in one place.

Hurley is with Locke at the Orchid.

That's right. Hey, speaking of The Orchid, that reminds me... Keamy and the other militants are there right now and I noticed something funny. Check out the tattoo on Keamy's arm. It looks eerily similar to the Blackwater logo. (Blackwater meaning the private military contractor thats currently doing work in Iraq, etc.) I wonder if that's intentional or just a strange coincidence (maybe the actor himself was ex-Blackwater or something - or is he part of Blackwater in LOST and the US gov't has something to do with the Island?). Food for thought.

Here is a shot of his arm:

To me it looks like crosshairs, not the 'sun' reference.

Good Catch.

Ben isnt the oceanic 6 but who do see him in the flash fowards with saied. SO I'm assuming not everyone dies. I do think once they see all the explosives they probably get sun and the baby off the ship before it blows up, then they meet up with jack, hurley, siaed, and kate and take the liitel boat to another island? being that ben gave himself up they would take him back so that gtes him off the island without anyone knowing, john would stay, siaed and hurley leave along with kate and the other oceanic 6 and maybe everyone was able to get to the boat and it blew up or they are still on the island. who knows?

The pic of his arm you posted didn't come through but you're right, they are just a little different. Eerily similar though.

Joey, don't kid yourself... Ben would never give himself up. I have a feeling we are about to get some answers as to how and why Ben ends up in the middle of a desert wearing a winter parka. Something tells me in the basement of the Orchid station (or underground, or whatever - Ben told Locke to hit the button and the elevator would take him to the "real" Orchid station) lies the time travel device that we've all been speculating about.

My theory: Keamy takes Ben inside The Orchid, he gets in a fight, gets away from them, hits the button, gets into the elevator, goes down and hops in the time machine to anywhere. He ends up in Tunisia (I assume anyway, since they've made mention of him going there before).

Now, why is he wearing a winter parka? Is the orchid very cold in the basement?

yeah but that didn't that episode happen already where he was in the desert right? isn't that where he ran into the cave and then told whidmore he was going to kill his daughter?

Yeah, it did happen already but it was a flash forward I'm pretty sure. Remember how he walked into the hotel and asked the lady at the front desk what date and what year it was?

yea, I think that this is how Ben is going to end up in the dessert, and if you remember Costanza, Ben looked a little beat up when he woke up in the dessert. Something to think about!

Yep, he was cut up a little if I remember right. A theory I'd heard about before was that he was attacked by a polar bear (i guess that stemmed from the winter parka he was wearing), but it makes much more sense that the militants beat the crap out of him before he escaped and ended up in Tunisia. He looked really confused when he woke up in the middle of the desert which leads me to believe that he had no idea where he was going to end up, he just needed to get himself out of The Orchid as quickly as possible.

Actually, re-watching the episode again makes my theory seem off. I notcied that Ben gave Locke his magical beat down stick, but when he wakes up in the dessert he has it, so I am thinking either he gets it back from Locke or this is not where he time jumps to the dessert.

I'm currently waiting for the next season to come out on dvd. i cant wait to see how they get off the island and where the hell is michael!?!?

we still got 1 more episode Mikey, a 2 hour season finale, they will probably show how they got off there.

Holy Shnikeees! WTF! Wow, that was a surprise! What did you all think?????

I guess I'm going to have to grab it off the torrents as I missed it.

Please say it was worthy of a 2 hour season finale?

Yeah, big surprise. In typical Lost fashion though, they answered some questions and left a lot more on the table.

One of the biggest surprises to me wasn't the ending though, it was what Ben did. That wasn't what I expected at all.

Alright Myth, I finally caught up on the last 3 episodes (what a long wait that was) Anyways... I have no idea whats gonna happen next - this show is crazy.
