Can anyone one tell me how inportant it is to work your legs for you upper body to grow. I only have use of my right leg so I am very limited, so some times I slack on leg day, and blow it off.
 
Squats & deadlifts stimulate the greatest hormone response so theoretically faster adaptation.

Also, every day is leg day bro.

Exercising the legs do cause elevated IGF-1 levels for a period, I assume your upper body could benefit. Do to your current situation though having only one working leg, are you able to do any lower body compound movements?

No one wants to hobble around on little pegs for legs, unless you're a pirate.
 
Compound movements on one leg is though but can be dun with light weight and a good spotter. And a little more time
