Legal Gear LipoBurn Log

I havent noticed a stickyness, but it burns...this is from my log...

Application 1

4 squirts 6.45AM Thursday after a scrub with a hot loufa.

The 1st 2 pumps failed to yield an apperciable volume of product, it seemd to simply spit a little at me. From the 3rd squirt on however, application was easy, and the pump worked well.

The product stung a little on application, but nothing too painful. The area also turned red. The product was not that runny, and was very easy to apply.

For the next 90minutes, I felt a strange warmness on my abs, it was quite pleasent, and I assume it is due to the capsician. After this time however, I started to get a minor irritation whenever I stretched the skin on my abs. The skin also dried up. This irritation lasted ~3hours and although it was not overly painful I feel it is worth a mention.

Seth Roberts addresses the chitosan issue:

From a thread at BB.com where it Seth was asked if chitosan is responsible for LipoBurn's tendency to leave a residue after application:

"It is not the chitosan causing the residue. I have used chitosan in many transdermals without any "flaking", in fact I have used chitosan-only formulations in some testing and there was no residue at all. There is quite a bit of research backing up chitosan's use in transdermal formulations. It acts as a carrier/penetration enhancer. It is not meant to do anything for fat loss (although chitosan is used as a fat-trapper substance when taken orally). I would suggest rubbing it in better -- it also may be that it is being applied to thick. " - S.Roberts

The glue like feeling is starting to be less and less noticeable....maybe because I'm rubbing it in more.

I don't think I could rub mine in any better than I do and I have the residue everytime, and it is like a "glue" when I stretch out, it pulls very much so on my stomach.

I am the same way. Most likely this is just due to desensitization to the residue. My abdominal skin has definitely lost some elasticity, though; I tied a little lotion to restore it, but I'm worried that this will be counterproductive to the local diuretic effect of the product.

LipoBurn updates:

Measurements
Day 0: Waist = 30.125 inches
Day 12: Waist = 29.875 inches
Weight: 167 lbs (-1 lb)
BF%: 9.8% (Fitness 2000 calipers)

Day 12 Impressions
Since my last update I have lost an additional eighth of an inch from my waistline while dropping a pound. The residue has become less noticeable, but I believe that this mostly due to desensitization as I am still able to see a shiny film on my abdominal region for hours after application. I was initially worried that excessive drying of my epidermis would occur, but surprisingly my skin has remained soft (after washing off the residue); the loss of elasticity only lasted a day or two. I have noticed a minor burning sensation upon application, but nothing distracting.

LipoBurn updates:

Measurements
Day 0: Waist = 30.125 inches
Day 19: Waist = 29.750 inches
Weight: 166 lbs (-2 lb)
BF%: 9.5% (Fitness 2000 calipers)

One week since my last update. I decided to wait until my waist had dropped another eighth of an inch before posting, as reiterating "application in AM went well" "application in PM went well" can get tiresome.

One interesting thing I noted was that one day I absentmindedly neglected to shake the bottle before dispensing my 4 pumps. After 3 pumps I caught on that I had made a mistake, as the product was far less viscous. I shook and dispensed the final pump befor applying as usual. Not only did I find the unshaken product to burn considerably more than its well-mixed counterpart, but residue upon drying, as well as scaliness, increased considerably.

I also suggest that if you intend to go out in the sun or hit the tanning beds, be careful when you apply LipoBurn afterward. I got baked pretty well in a bed the other day and my first application of LipoBurn an hour or so later burned something fierce.

Have you been able to see a difference in the definition of your abs?

Any pictures of your abs? (That would be the reason I would take a transdermal fatloss gel - my lower abs suck.)

GFK....I feel you on the don't apply around the times you are going in the sun...I did that and lets say I don't intend on doing that again.

Odd week. My bodyweight fell and additional pound while my bodyfat and waist measurements failed to change at all. I have had an atypical week with regards to training: I trained twice on Sunday and took and additional off day on Tuesday requiring me to perform cardio twice on Sunday rather than spread throughout the week. Diet has been the same as previous week. Although I feel my progress has been solid in my eyes, I feel like I will need to drop calories further and increase cardio an additional day/week if I would like to continue losing fat. I have lost only 3 pounds over nearly 4 weeks (I was not aiming to lose much weight), but my abdominal region looks like I have been following a fairly strick cutting regimen.

Aside from realizing that I have not yet mentioned the slight "gumming" of product at the tip (think dried mustard at the tip of the bottle), applications have been typical with no additional effects worth mentioning.

im going to run speed v2 and lipo burn for 2 months
wish me luck
