Leg Exercises Post Surgery

Scrutiny

Hi everyone.

1 week ago I had a localised surgery on the arch of my foot to remove a suspected skin cancer.
It was a decent cut, approximately 1-1.5 inches upwards into the foot.

My healing is coming along well. Stitches will remain for another week.

I was wondering what people think in terms of non weight bearing exercises on my foot for leg workouts?

I can’t plant my foot down flat so presses / squats etc are out.

I’ve been doing upper body workouts fine obviously with a fair few adjustments so I am not standing on it.

For legs I’m even hesitant with extensions and curls wondering if that’ll strain the affected area being the arch of my foot.

I would wait until the stitches are out personally. I cant imagine not recruiting my muscles in my foot. Someone may say go light but I say why waste the time. Stick with some 4-way leg raises and ISO holds. Its only a week after all. Get cleared then ease back into things.
