Lebron James

i am 48, and got to catch wilt at the end of his career. saw bird and majic in their prime, and kareem when he was still lou. saw pistol pete at lsu, dont forget bill russell, clyde the glyde, jerry west and on ond on. michael jordan, is my pick.
I'm jealous. I'm glad you mentioned clyde the glyde, for some reason he doesn't get the respect he deserves. What an insane athlete he was, and humble as could be. It means a lot when someone with your perspective picks Jordan over all the greats of the last 30-40 years.

Many forget the Glyde as with most he was during the time of Airness. Best player to ever dawn a blazer outfit if you ask me.

michael was something special, who else could have held that team together? rodman is and was a basket case, and pippen well we all know what happened to him when mj wasnt around. can you imagine that some people were calling the bulls the greatest team of all time. takeaway mj and you dont even have a playoff team. i still think majic/kareem/and worthy with the lakers were the best team, but lots of love for larry and kevin. man those were some great matchups.

lebron showed his youth and lack of experience in the finals. With that being said he still is beyond his years. Needs more pressure situations to test him....and a better jumper.

Agree, he needs a much better jumper and some post up moves wouldn't kill him either.

i agree, although walton wasnt bad either.

Walton was a great player... took them to there only title if memory serves me right. But Clyde just had the all around talent in the leagues of magic, bird and mj.
