lean bulking and NEW TO CARDIO

Brolic

Banned
Since Im jobless, i decided to finally do cardio and shed some BF, maybe 5-10 pds before i run "Epi" in Aug.

I have decided to see how my body respones to low carbs(under 350) and cardio for a few weeks

Cardio after lifting can be beneficial due to your glycogen stores being depleted from lifting, thus most of what you are burning is stored fat.

Morning cardio holds fairly the same principles, in the fact that your glycogen stores are depleted and you should be burning stored fat. However, you are most likely in more of a catabolic state because of the length of time since your last meal (if you do it empty stomach). To help combat this, some will drink a protein drink and/or drink/take BCAAs or EAAs during/before cardio.

Regardless of the never-ending debate of when to do cardio, one thing holds true. If your goal is to 'cut' or minimize fat stores, cardio at any time is better than no cardio.

With a lot of things, try one way out for awhile and see how your body responds. Adjust, if needed, from there.

i want to lose a few pounds 5-10pd with 2-3weeks//

i got caffine and aspin. not sure how to dose the aspin

how much cardio should i be doing?

when i was working overnite, i was walking 6-7 hours. so now that im not working would 45-60mins of cardio 3-5days a week be too much?

sun-delts/chest
mon-quad/ham
tue-off
wen- arms/delts at 50%
thu-back
fri--arms
sat off
*forearms/calfs get worked everyday expect on legday
*abs get worked bewtween sets

Personally I would go either HIIT with food taken before or empty stomach on Tuesday and Saturday, and either HIIT (if you choose to go with empty stomach on the other days) or steady state cardio directly after your workouts on Wednesday and Friday.

I actually used that exact strategy (same days and timing) with great results.

I wouldn't recommend ever doing HIIT on an empty stomach. There is no way you get to a high enough intensity without some source of fuel. In my opinion, it is better suited to do non-lifting days around your carb meals.

HIIT= High Intensity Interval Training.

Since you are jobless, I'm guessing you got nothing but time right ?

I recommend 4-5 days/week, 45 min on whatever at low impact training (i.e. don't kill yourself).

It is better for your health.

who recommended that?

Lower carb is under 350 , I do 30 minutes after weight training while sipping on a BCAA/Protein shake. Wish my body could handle carbs that well. Anything over 150 and I'll run anyone out of a room.
