Laptop questions...

I have a couple questions about my laptop computer. What should I use to clean the screen with? Brilliant huh??

My main question now is I purchased this power supply from best buy this past September of '03. I dropped 150 bones on it too. Anyways I was using my laptop like always and for some reason the power supply just quit working. There used to be a little green light that comes on on top of the transformer, but now nothing.

Any ideas what this might be, or what I can do to fix it or troubleshoot it?

Also, I had to use my UPC symbol and part of my receipt to send in for a mail-in rebate. On the box it says it has a 2 year warranty. How should I go about trying to get another one?

Use a wet-shammy; synthetic ones are available everywhere. Once you wipe it down with the damp shammy, use a dry one to finish it off.

The PS is dead... still have the receipt? If not, BestBuy should maintain a record of the purchase.

buy a new one and pay w/ cash, stick the old one in the box and return it. Put a fake address and phone number on thing they give u to fill out.

I got the receipt, but part of it was sent in to the mail in rebate place. JB, thats brilliant man...although I'm gonna try just returning it at another location. If no go, then I'll buy one at another different location and do what you said. :twisted:
