No history of PH/AAS use. Call me natural. Was looking into PHs and decided to get an overall male health panel as baseline before getting into anything. Results below. 28 year old male.
CBC w/ Differential/Platelet - All normal
Complete Metabolic Panel - All normal
Cholesterol 138 (100 - 199)
Triglycerides 60 (0 - 149)
HDL Cholesterol 63 (>39)
LDL Cholesterol 63 (0 - 99)
T. Chol/HDL Ratio 2.2 (0.0 - 5.0)
LH 9.4 High (1.7 - 8.6)
FSH 2.7 (1.5 - 12.4)
Testosterone, Total, LC/MS 781.6 (348.0 - 1197.0)
Free Testosterone(Direct) 19.9 (9.3 - 26.5)
DHEA-Sulfate 287.3 (138.5 - 475.2)
TSH 2.670 (0.450 - 4.500)
Prostate Specific Ag, Serum 0.5 (0.0 - 4.0)
Estradiol, Sensitive 30.3 (8.0 - 35.0)
Triiodothyronine,Free,Serum 3.4 (2.0 - 4.4)
So I guess high LH typically point to hypogonadism. However, in reading I've discovered that some labs report 0-10 as the normal range, so a 9.4 isn't totally alarming, but anything 9-10 is considered slightly above normal.
The thing that I may be looking for insight on, is the dichotomy between the LH and FSH (High vs Low). I've read that they generally mirror eachother, i.e. both high or both low. Not sure what it means to have LH on the high end, and FSH on the low end.
I know the easy response is, "Go see your doctor." And maybe I will, but before going through that process, wondering if anyone has anything useful to share.
