Anyone see this anthony Roberts article saying Leucine is useless as a supplement? Do you think its true? I've always heard good things about Leucine, How many of you guys use it?

It looked to me that the article was stating that if you get enough protein via your diet then supplementing with more leucine won't yield any measurable difference. Per se if you're 200lbs eating 200g of protein what exactly would be the point of using more leucine on top of it?

Very beneficial. Leucine is used to spike MPS whereas whole foods may not contain enough leucine to maximally spike MPs
So do u recommend taking a few g of leucine with high protein meals to give a better effect on MPS?

Pending on the source and amount of protein in the meal, yes
BRB...I'm gonna order a case load of Amino IV
Or order 1 tub and buy bulk leucine![]()
I personally think that can be an issue of micromanaging, but theoretically that would be beneficial. If I don't have a ton in a meal or sources aren't ideal I do pop a couple at times.
I do think this is why less frequent but larger meals may be more beneficial, but for the majority of people it is most important to get total protein intake for the day before worrying about these kind of things .
As for the original article I feel like that blog does this kind of off the mark analysis frequently just to stir the pot.
