L dopa info

I was wondering if something has to be taken with L dopa for it to be absorbed mainly in the brain and not the body. I remember reading something about this but I forgot the name of the compound.

Yea that's what I thought and it's because it's aborbed by other tissies in the body unless something els is taken with it right?

Is the substence I'm thinking of a decarboxy inhibiter? if that's the case what's a good one to take with it?

I think you guys are talking about synthetic L-Dopa, or maybe even a very high extract of L-Dopa. You don't need it if you're taking mucuna pruriens because there are other constituents in the MP.
