I've recently read and heard that Korean Red Panax Ginseng may be effective in increasing sleep quality/duration, and reducing stress and anxiety.
Do you have any personal experience with Korean Red Panax Ginseng and do you have any recommendations or cautions that you are willing to share?
This is one of those things where good ingredients sometimes become so overhyped or overexaggerated that everyone goes for them for awhile and then a lot of people turn on them and say they aren't that good - but its really because they are promoted as being great for so many things that they can't possibly live up to expectations.
Panax Ginseng is an adaptogen so it may in theory be able to help with stress and anxiety, but it isn't something that I would take just for that; as in I think that there are a lot of things better for that if that is the desired goal.
For sleep, I think that there are much better things for that than Panax Ginseng.
Actually, in typing that, Apigenin comes to mind for both purposes and I think Api-Plex would be better for both.
We do use a specialized Panax Ginseng in Cloma-Plex and Anabolic XT, and I think its a great ingredient - just not necessarily for the reasons that you mentioned. It may help with those things, but I could consider it a nice additional benefit.
I can't remember - have you tried Anabolic XT or Cloma-Plex?
