ive recently started getting really bad knee pains when i squat (form is very good). because of this i had to stop squatting today and just do goodmornings instead. this is kind of a big deal as im trying to compete in some powerlifting competitions. ive been searching but are there any ways to help with bad knees? i know theres a ton of effective stuff for shoulders but knees?

-thanks in advance

Are you sure your forms perfect?

A pretty common exercise for knee health are Terminal Knee Extension's, here is a link to them:

Other than that, what kind of shoes are your wearing? Are you box squatting? How is your ankle Mobility? Are you pushing your knees out and spreading the floor? Are your shins staying perpendicular to the floor?

another rehab exercise is eccentric loading on the 45 degree leg press
load to around 60% of weight, bring the weight slowly down with one leg
push back up with both

this will help if you get sore at the bottom of your knees, most likely patella tendonitis

its bad quality, but my form is better now, i stand a little wider and its less like a good morning

Dude your knees are coming really far forward, box squat for a little while and focus on keeping your shins perpendicular to the ground. You want to sit back until you hit the box, not down.
