So I've been on my first actual injectable steroid cycle for about 8 weeks now. Sometimes when I pin my glute upon taking out the needle i see a tiny bit of oil come out. Does that mean im accidentally injecting Subq instead of IM? 27g 1/2inch insulin syringes btw.

You might be injecting into a more inflamed spot (from previously injecting there), and as a result, there will be some pressure.

Ohhh thats definitely it. I've been injecting daily so that makes total sense. I've only been alternating between my glutes should I start pinning delts as well?

Doesn’t mean it’s defo sub q - the needle leaves a hole all the way to where you injected so as it’s closing a little oil sometimes gets back out.

z track technique solves it but the amount is so small I don’t bother.

make sure you don’t inject too fast so the bulk of it is dispersed into the muscle as well
