Kimbo V Mercer

Yeah, I'm sure Bas helped him tremendously. Mercer is old, and seems to have little to no training in MMA. I would like to see Kimbo fight Buentello, he'll most likely get smashed.
 
Man Kimbo would take a serious ass whooping if that match-up occured. IMO, Lesnar would give a lot of fighters a lot of trouble, he's kinda scary really.

That was too easy for Kimbo. I think it was his gameplan to not bang with mercer and just end it quick via gnp or submission. A quick win to get his name in the books and get another fight so he can get paid.
 
Kimbo has a good trusty right-slugger and has some good dodging moves, but I wouldn't put any money on him against some of the real MMAs out there.
 
Id give him a good chance ahead of most MMA'ers, simply put raw fierce aggression, a hard head, strong limbs, and KO power.... Tough to submit a guy who picks you up and slams you ala page, not page calibre skill wise but i mean look at his head you could open soup cans with it.

haha true. He would have to continue to train MMA tho but with his rawness i think that would be enough to take some guys out. He would be HW so its interesting to see the matchups he could face against top guys. Id like to see him and Tim Silvia.

I've seen a few of his fights... However, when I saw him fight someeon with actual MMA abilities, he didn't kniow what to do.
Usually, if the fight goes beyond 3 min, he's EXTREMELY exahusted!.

(of course, Ive only seen the home video fights)

I guess Kimbo called out the Tankster in his post-fight interview who in turn told Mr. Slice to meet him in the parking lot. So this may be Kimbo's next fight.
 
Poor tank, after a solid career and a few bad losses he's gonna lose to kimbo the internet street fighter. On that note if another "street fighter" game is made i demand that kimbo is in it.
 
Kimbo actually looked pretty good. Mercer didn't know what to do. Kimbo kept the pressure on non-stop. He mixed it up with punches, elbows, MT knees and some ground game. This was about as good as the most glorified predictions.
 
Kimbo's a beast. But he has a real weakness on the ground. If you search youtube there are a few vids with him training with Bas's fight team and getting reversed and swept while on the ground. Granted he wasn't throwing any leather, but the guy was much smaller then him.
Plus Kimbo dead give props to the team, calling himslef a "baby python".
