Ketogenics Glucosatrol

Information on Glucosatrol

Stimulate glycogen storage ✝

Help Maintain & Increase Insulin Sensitivity ✝

Promote Fat loss ✝

Improves Glucose Metabolism ✝

Promote Muscle Fullness & Vascularity ✝

Ideal for Fasting & Ketogenic Diets ✝

Support Healthy liver function.✝

Support Healthy antioxidant activity.✝

Glucosatro contains an extensive list of ingredients that support glucose disposal. Not only do these ingredients help regulate blood sugar levels and insulin release, but they also optimize nutrient partitioning (what becomes of the calories that enter your body in food, how your body stores these nutrients).

Dosing:

Take 6 Caps 10-15 minutes prior to a meal

Dose 10-15 Minutes Prior to a meal.

Formula

Monitor Readings

** All readings are 90 minutes post meal.
** 6 Caps 15 minutes prior to carb meal (Directions on label)
** Carb meal amounts are listed

Upon Waking: (Baseline) – 84 mg/dl --- Day 1

Upon Waking (After 10 Days) – 81 mg/dl – Day 10

90 Minutes after 25g Carb with 6 Cap – 33 mg/dl
3 Rice Cakes

90 minutes after 50g Carbs with 6 Caps – 55 mg/dl
7 Rice Cakes

90 minutes after 75g Carbs with 6 Caps: - 66 mg/dl
7 Rice Cakes + Honey

90 minutes after 100g Carbs with 6 Caps: - 69 mg/dl
100g Carbs from Jasmine Rice

90 minutes after Cheat Meal with 6 Caps – 77 mg/dl
Burger & Fries

90 Minutes after Cheat Meal with 6 Caps: - 91 mg/dl
Pint of Ice Cream

Good:

Since using the GDA I noticed my weight did drop an average of 1-1.5 pounds with no dietary changes. This may be due to the carbs were being utilized or processed at a much faster pace.

Slightly improved pump in gym, improved digestion, less bloat

Bad:

I noticed hunger increase after my pre-workout dose of the GDA. Possibly due to the fact my body burned right through the carbs

BG got low after (25-50g carb readings). If I were to do this in the future I may do 3 caps (half dose) to not let my BG get too low. This shows the power of the product.

What ingredient in there is going to promote increased fat metabolism?
Gynostemma Pentaphyllum
Green Coffee Bean Extract
Olive Leaf Extract
Bitter Melon Extract
Cinnamon Bark Extract
Berberine

These have all shown fat loss results in studies either via indirectly by increased insulin sensitivity or things like increased AMPK, PPAR inhibition. Also alpha lipoic acid boosts overall energy expenditure.

I would not consider this a "fat burning" product per say if that's the thinking though it can/does show some fat loss abilities.

So if one is very low carb, those ingredients will still be effective? I see they have a comprehensive digestive enzyme supplement, and it looks like it would aid in a keto diet.

Us keto people love it. Daily use but really on those CKD carb days.

And actually yes I really do like and use the digestive enzymes on the daily basis I've always been a fan of digestive enzymes even since the early 1990s.

As far as Glucosatrol, if your keto or not...

(below is my generic copy and paste reply which you probably know all this stuff but helps this who have no idea what a GDA is)

Im keto (ckd) and on big carb days I take 1+ serving 10 to 15 min before meals.

A GDA bottle lasts a while if you only use it on carb days. But I also take it daily for its amazing overall health benefits w/regards to insulin sensitivity, anti-inflammatory, cholesterol lowering ability etc etc.

In the 1990's when I first met Lyle McDonald we all used GDA's on the carb up and then for 2 days post carb up to help speed up re-entry into ketosis. Also taken pre meal.

They REALLY shine when you use them for what they were created for: big carb meals but they are also health promoting so I take half a serving 2 to 3 x a day every day.

It's my favorite and longest used/type of product that I have been using in some shape or form since the 1990s.

Its not on the "must have" supplements, its really a next level type supplement with specific uses for those who understand the benefits and have seen results with them.

I know many who have never used a GDA (lucky skinny sobs haa) and guys who are obsessed with them (like me).

There is also a huge sub culture that use GDA's as a "cheat meal defense" but its really not what they were designed for but there is some merit behind using it for that as well ....but that's another topic for another day...

I do a really dirty CKD. And have digestive issue from high fat meals. The enzyme looks promising to help in that area.

As do I
I have not noticed this at all since starting the Product
Another big benefit here.... Digestion.

I have never been able to process a lot of high fat meals on the daily norm, but this has been MUCH Better since using the product. I can find myself eating 10-15-20g of fat for meals with ease.

Interesting review. Seems like it really dropped your blood sugar pretty aggressively. Did you notice any side effects from being down below 70 my/dl? I think I would start getting hangry and maybe even light headed much below 65. Lol.

Nope.. 70 is fine for me.. when I hit 30 on the low carb meal that was a different story.
Many competitors I know sit around the 70's and 80's year round with BG. Again this may vary from the typical human and gym rat, but it goes to show where their insulin sensitivity is if it is lower.
Just depends on your build, and how lean you are. Those who weight more with a higher BF% may have a higher BG reading.

I was looking at those numbers in the 30's and 50's. I have similar fasting glucose as what you have, and I feel nothing at 70...but even at 65 I start getting aggressive and hungry. At 55 I would be light headed I bet.

30's...I don't even know what that feels like and not sure I would want to.

My belief is that people who burn carbs preferentially tend to be leaner than people who burn fat preferentially, which seems counter intuitive. It seems like this product may be pretty powerful in aiding that.

Saturday, Feb 1 – Workout Day – 170.6
Sunday Feb 2 – Cheat Meal – 170.8
Monday Feb 3 – Workout Day – 171.2 (Spike from Cheat)
Tuesday Feb 4th – Non Workout – 170.4

Updated Weights:
Wed - 5th - Workout -- 170.6
Thur - 6th - Workout -- 170.2
Fri - 7th - Non -- 170

Weight is still dropping with no changes in calories. I have bumped up from the end of my BMP and AE Logging (5 months of being in a slight deficit), yet I am still leaning out, and my BG continues to drop with the only change being the GDA and additiona calories (only one caloric bump)

Other things to Note:

BG Upon Waking 80 (which is down again)
I tried 3 caps with a high at meal and found digestion to be far improved (usually fatty meals does bloat me)

3 Caps sits me much better on Lower carb meals (25/50g Carb Meals)
BG After those meals - 66, 69, and 71
I did not see it drop into the 30's or 50's which made my BG and insulin levels much more stable.

Some takeaways:
Even for those on a keto diet, used with higher fat meals will improve digestion (from a small trial I did)
3 Caps better suited for lower carb meals
BG continues to drop weekly
Improved body recomp effect with no dietary changes.

So far I am very pleased with this product and would put it right up there with GlycoShield , Predator, and Slintensity V2 as an all time favorite just in a short run so far.

What is helping with the digestion?
I am commenting on anything I notice when taking the product. For someone such as myself who is a creature of habit with my meals and food sources, this is just what I am seeing as I continue to use the product.

This is another reason why I am trying to use it with as many combinations of meals (Carb amounts, 0 carb meals, higher-fat meals) to dictating where I feel it works best (for myself), which may benefit others.
I know @DieselNY has stated himself and plenty of others who have used it feel the very same way.

I know when I go off GDA's (GlycoShield, Predator, Glucosatrol) I find digestion sits heavier compared to when on them.

What is helping with the digestion?
Some GDA's by their nature do that but if we focus on lets say Banaba for instance. Its use goes back 100s or 1000s? years used traditionally to soothe the stomach and improve digestive function.

Components within banaba leaf have a beneficial effect on gastrointestinal tissue and improve intestinal function. Sipping banaba tea is the traditional use of the compound especially in the Philippines.

All I can tell you in my very small (as a % of diets in this country) but very big so to say ketogenic community and following this thing is like a Godsend. I'm not going to lie... I talked this thing up for a very long time before it hit the market and then once people started using it I've never had to talk it up ever again... in fact I'm going to be honest; I did NOT expect the feedback would THIS amazing....

I just figured people would really like it and tell me they enjoy the product but the feedback I get is unbelievable such that I never even talk about it anymore I just let the customers do the talking.

I have dozens upon dozens of emails and screenshots from people that randomly message me I almost feel like they're pulling my leg to make me happy, but they're not. They are genuinely pleased with it.

So I'm very happy and honored at the same time that people really enjoy this product it makes me very happy to see people enjoy something and getting their money's worth.

And I have ton of non keto people who love it but my keto people who follow my strict cyclical ketogenic protocol with a massive weekend carb up find this to be quite possibly the most useful supplement they've ever had.

Again I'm just sharing feedback and I refuse to talk it up anymore as I'm so proud of the feedback that it has generated by itself that I just let people who like it do the talking. I also refuse to argue or get in a pissing match with anybody who sells a competing product or reps etc because I'm quite astonished as the amount of sales we get and the amazing feedback so I'm happy with just leaving it alone and let it be and let it talk for itself.

Again I always knew they would love this stuff but I never knew it would generate the amazing feedback it has.

I'm very happy @The Solution likes it and I knew when I let him try a bottle that I was either going to be made a fool of or going to be made very proud by his feedback because he doesn't lie ...so it was a risk I was willing to take because I knew the product would speak for itself. And I'm humbled and honored he gave his stamp of approval.

This is what I was looking for thanks.

Was just wondering which particular worked with digestions of fats. I have no doubt and have seen stuff for some of the ingredients in relation to carbohydrate digestions.

In general I am just not as knowledgable for things that work with fat digestion.

Thanks!

I'm not sure we can narrow down fat digestion per say its not like comparing lipase to protease. Its digestion in general but more focused on carbohydrates.

But keep in mind GDA's shine with carb consumption not fat per say. But yeah there will always be those guys who use GDA's as "cheat meal defense" and there is merit behind it but I'm not one to go down that road with promoting this product.

But sure from time to time I'll have fun with some marketing like the attached photo, but its not how I want this product to be promoted.

I made this during Christmas:

Awesome thanks!! @Marcia
Since I’m at about 84g of carbs a day, I’m thinking I should dose with Meal 1 with oatmeal (which is also my preworkout meal) and then again at Meal 3 with sweet potatoes. Can I get away with splitting the 6 caps between the two?

If you are that low I would just do carbs pre/post instead of having in later meals (better for insulin sensitivity)
and then you can just use 2-3 caps pre and none post.
This way you optimize your performance in the gym and allocate the carbs when they are most needed.

Sure. Just keep in mind 6 caps is the full dose for a reason but if you are like @The Solution and respond to even lower than a full dose then go for it. Trial and error.

I would suggest she tracks her Blood Glucose prior to the meal and 90 minutes after. This way she knows the best dose to keep her Blood sugar stable and utilize the product to the best of her ability.
if she is eating that little of carbs it may make her go hypo with 6 full caps on a low dose carb meal.
Going Hypo is not fun especially with you are working with a very powerful GDA.

Better to be safe and start on the low end (3 caps) with pre, split the other carbs to post, and then have all her other meals be P+F+V best to help control insulin sensitivity.

I would suggest at least 50g+ of carbs for 6 caps. Just based on my readings off my trial and experience.

This is subjective from person to person and how they respond to the formula and carbohydrates. As always start with a lower dose (3 caps) and adjust as needed. I find that 75-100g of carbs and cheat meals with 6 caps to be my sweet spot
3 caps is great for 0-50g carbs.

I found that with higher fat meals even a few caps help with digestion and processing of the meal.
