This PWO has a pretty good profile of ingredients for a balance of pump and stim. Let's see how this older lifter's body responds.

In honesty I'm currently running a cycle of IML Osta RX. I figured this wouldn't interfere with logging a PWO.

Othersupplements I'll be taking:
iForce Compete, iForce Joint Help, Modern BCAA, Glucosamine, Multivitamin and Fish Oil. Please let me know if you want me to drop any of these during the log period.

As of now here are my stats:
Height 5'6". Weight 167 lbs Age 53

Max Lifts Starting (1RM off cycle)
Machine Bench: 255 lbs
Machine Squat: 275
BB Deadlift: 355
Machine Shoulder Press: 115

Workouts:
All my workouts are on a daily basis in my garage gym. They are generally 1 to 1.5 hours long and utilize combinations of an Ironmaster machine and free-weights:

I train using a 7 day split and I use a HR monitor to time when my HR returns to a point that I can begin the next set.

Feel free to post anything you'd like to motivate or make me do my best. If my weights for any lift seem "off" it might be due to incorrect form. Don't flame me (PM me instead) as I'm still learning. Welcome to my log!
 
Final Rating and Thoughts on Formutech Nutrition's PWO called Volatile. I am a confessed stimulant PWO lover that has tried over 20 PWOs before this log. I enjoy a good PWO's energy level and like the results for my early morning workouts. With this said here are my observations:

Mixability: 10/10 It only took a few swirls to mix. Do not shake as this results in a significant amount of foam.

Taste: 9/10
Flavor reminded me of tropical punch jello. There is no chemical aftertaste.

Effectiveness: 9/10
Smooth and clean energy from 1 scoop. Since I like more energy than the average person, my sweet spot was 1.5 scoops. I train with a heart rate monitor and noticed my heart rate would be consistently lower than usual once I dosed 1.5 scoops. This is not a bad thing since it allowed more sets to be performed in the same time period. Hang time was about 3 hours.

Sides
None. No crash or GI issues at all.

Recommendation I would definitely recommend Volatile as a low stim PWO to my lifting friends.

Let the Volatility begin! I took my first scoop of Formutech Nutrition's Volatile PWO 30 mins before my workout. This mixed very well in 6 oz of water with no floaters or sinkers. The fruit punch flavor was a little sweet but overall it tasted like candy.

In 30 mins I felt a mild sensation of the BA tingles and hit my first set.

Thanks for joining brother! I love my gym and feel blessed to have it. I've been running Osta RX for 2 weeks out of a planned 6 weeks. There is indeed a speed and heavy bag in the gym. I use them both for the cardio portion of my workouts.

Another 1.5 scoops today and the desired energy level was achieved. I'm noticing that my pulse rate is running lower than usual (I train with a HRM). This is an interesting effect.

Minus 5 today with the gym running at 40! Woohoo! Crazy!

Very interesting effect and it has happened 2 days in a row. Will see if it happens today. I lift by those HR numbers, as soon as the HR drops then I immediately start the next set.

I command triceps to grow!

1.5 scoops volatile in 14 oz water is the sweet spot for me. I noticed the pulse rate lowering effect again today. Nothing wrong and I feel great!

Originally I did them with alternating arms. Wrong way. Switched to doing them simultaneously and bam! Killer!

I have the start of a head cold or sinus infection! Damn! Too sick to go to work but, thanks to Volatile, I could lift!

I've taken Airborne early this morning and 1.5 scoops of Volatile. Volatile cleared my sinuses right up but I noticed my HR was higher than normal during the lifts. Had to take some extra time to allow it to drop. New PRs!

That's some nice volume on the inclines, nicely done on the PR!

My magic cure all for colds and sinus infections, as simple as it sounds, is vitamin C every morning, and zinc every night about and hour before bed. Should have you back to almost normal in about week.

Get better kempo!!! I ve had a small cold lately. Not over the top but stuffy nose or runny nose and tired. But been able to battle through it.
 
I was almost gonna stay to steer clear of the gym yesterday, but I didn't wanna stomp out your fire, haha. I never lift when I feel like I'm fighting off a cold, it's almost always a sure fire way for me to get sick. I figure if my body is already fighting off infection or illness it doesn't need to be worn out and have to repair itself.
