Keeping Raw Milk Fresh?

I buy Organic Pastures milk, but I notice the milk goes sour days before its expiration date. My fridge is set to 37-38...

Anyone have any tips on keeping it fresh? Should I try transferring the milk to glass bottles?

I think transferring it to glass is worth a try, as my farmer has told me to only use glass. You still have to keep the cap clean and refrain from drinking it straight from the bottle (not that you'd do such an uncivilized thing). A better option might be to find a nearby dairy that would sell a herdshare, and cut several days of transport out of the loop. Good luck.
