Keep me accountable

I am just posting this to keep myself accountable for my progress. I am currently cutting and starting to like the results. I am going to post a pic or two here on May first of how things are going. This is my public commitment that i'm hoping everyone here will help me honour.

We're watching you! Commitment is half the battle!

Right now i'll be supplementing with Ergonine, PES Select, Forskolin, Target-A2, and whatever preworkout I have on hand. Maybe i'll add a fat burner in eventually as I get stuck but my calories are pretty low right now and i'm never hungry these days so it should happen pretty quick. I'm forcing 2000 calories in every day when I feel satisfied with half that which is strange because I'm usually hungry all the time.

IN here.

This was me in 2010. I let myself get up to around 225lbs after holding in the 180 range for much of my adult life.

Great stuff. You have to keep me accountable for doing my cardio 4x a week!

I hate standard cardio so I play hockey 3-4x a week. It's the only way I can do cardio without wanting to punch myself in the face. lol

I am fortunate enough that I get to play twice a week on my lunch hour with a bunch of the other IT guys. It's surprisingly good hockey for a bunch of computer guys.

Well I work from home in all my careers. I have a home gym and a gym in my subdivision with cardio equipments I have no excuses just will power that has kept me from being the beast I should be.

That's what keeps most people back. I'm pretty sure that if I worked out at home I would rarely get a good workout in. I would be too tempted to wrap it up and do something else. Finding cardio that you enjoy I find is the key to doing it consistently. I could never just go for a run though I don't mind a quiet walk or a good mountain bike through the hills.

Two days until I post that picture and I just don't feel ready. lol But i'm going to do it anyway.

Let it out. I'm on week three of my cut now and feel great. Keep your self accountable!

Here is today's photo. I look rather flat because I've had minimal carbs the past couple of days. That changes tonight. I weighed in at an even 186 today. Down from 200 a couple months ago. I hit 178 in the fall before my bulk and I'd like to get down to 175 before I hit maintenance calories for the summer then bulk again in the fall. I'm still carrying too much body fat around my midsection but I feel like I'm slimmer than the photo represents.

Looking good man.

Nothing to be ashamed of there. Doing good so far. Keep up the progress :)

Weighed myself this morning after a rest day and some intermittent fasting the past couple of days. Getting down pretty quick even after carb loading on Friday night. A nice even 184 today. I'll try to snap a better pic today. I really don't like the one I posted. I don't find it's an accurate representation of how I really look.

This is a better pic. Weighing in at 184 and am now on the last notch on the belt I bought last November. I'm taking that as some decent progress.

Where I'm at right now. Middle of a workout, no pump products or preworkout used. All natural. And after almost 3 weeks out of the gym due to my ruptured tendon.

Progress pics from last week. I feel like I'm stuck right now. I can't seem to get that last bit of body fat off my mid section to go. There doesn't feel much like fat there, more loose skin than anything. I'll take any suggestions I can get right now. I've added some extra ab work to my workouts lately trying to get the muscles to pop a little more.

Which exercises? Where's your calories sitting now?

I've added some hanging leg raises, variations of crunches, ab rollouts, etc. to my workouts. I'm sitting around 1600-2200 cals a day depending on my workouts. I feel like i've been at the same place for months now. I also feel like i'm starting to lose muscle mass instead of fat.

Maybe it's time to find a workout partner or trainer to really push me for a while.

I know this isn't a great comparison photo but this is where I was a few years ago. I was around 223 pounds here.

I had the same problem and added in heavy cable crunches 4x15 for 6 weeks and dem abs be poppin now. For the ~9 months before I had done no direct abdominal work other than high rep ab wheel, hanging leg raises, and plank variations.
