Anyone ever been? Got any advice?

My wife earned a partially paid trip 2 1/2 years ago and we signed up but then Covid Hit. Then we signed up a new date and then we got preggo and had another kid. So we go in a week! We have 3 mystery excursions paid for. I really wanna do some fishing but will do shore probably instead of a paid excursion.

Just curious ad you never know about Google. We are on the east side.

I was stationed in Hawaii from 92-95. Any of the islands are beautiful, but some have more to offer than others and are less commercialized.

Kauai is absolutely beautiful. If you’re staying on the east side, that’s called the coconut coast. There’s a ton of coconut palm trees there.

Rent a car and explore the island. There’s waterfalls, beaches and a state park that you can zip line in. Eat the local food. Loco moco is one of my favorite dishes. If you like seafood you’ll get the freshest seafood you’ve ever had. You wont have any issues fishing there.

Thanks! Yepp we rented a car! I love seafood and super excited for that. We have no idea what our 3 excursions are until we get there unfortunately. It will be fun regardless.
 
I bet one of them will be a snorkeling excursion. We snorkeled with sea turtles and that was awesome!
