Kat's mackin it with BPS MacaPro

Thank you all very much! ...thanks Turff for the tips! Sounds like a good plan! It is definitely too hot! Lol

I was originally wanting to focus on gaining muscle but just want the fat gone and I'm inpatient I guess. Lol

I'd focus on doubling your calories one day a week first and stay with your cardio. ECA is good, clen is better.

Clen never made me sweat, I used it two weeks on two off for my whole prep.

Pretty lucky if no sweats. But, it does affect people differently. What dose did you run and was it liquid, powder, or tablets? Just curious.

As you may know I had issues with the stomach area as well. I could feel the abs and had very little fat over them. Turns out I had a lot of visceral fat and/or bloating. I experimented for months and found gluten and the amount of carbs I consumed was the reason. I dropped carbs from 40 to 30% of diet and upped protein and fats. I also stay away from gluten. It dropped my waist from 38 to 34 in a couple months while eating at maintenance.

Kenpo is correct. Type of carbs and timing can play a huge role in this. On timing, you should time the bulk of your carbs around your workout. I use Dextrose to help get my carb intake. 2 tablespoons with my pre workout and 2 with my post workout. That is 160 calories in carbs going to the muscles immediately when and where they are needed.

Ur figuring that stuff out kenpo! Big results! Nice job!

Thank you all for your help and sharing your experiences! It's nice to have all of your support! :) I have played with types/amounts of carbs and gluten free diets myself too! Changes are happening- just very very slowly. I'll keep on adjusting until we get there! Gotta get ready to build some muscle! Lol

I just want to thank BPS again for the opportunity to run this log and everyone of you that's supported me and followed along!!!! You guys rock!! I never would've thought about trying MacaPro otherwise! I have truly enjoyed it! MacaPro will be a staple in my daily supplements! My only initial issue was it bothering my stomach with 2 pills a day. Taking a week or so at 1 pill a day fixed that though. Within the first few days I noticed my mood improving and a slight increase in libido! After getting to full dose, I had an increase in focus and in energy. I was able to get things done without forgetting. Since being diagnosed with hashimotos and fibromyalgia, I had been having issues with focus in daily activities, so this was huge for me! Throughout the entire month, I felt much more balanced hormone wise, no crazy fluctuations or insane cravings. As I said before, my cycles have been quite miserable with having cysts, headaches, horrible cramps, and lots of pain elsewhere. The MacaPro drastically lessened all of those issues. I did not feel a cyst at all and only lasted 4 days vs 8-10. I cannot say enough good things! The quality of the maca root is outstanding! I would recommend and will be recommending MacaPro!!

Thanks for running a great log, Kat! I'm really stoked to see that it seems to be a good supplement for females as well :)
