Just turned 38

I posted this on another forum as well...

Today, I just turned 38 as a matter of fact. Here's the run down on where I'm at then I will ask my question(s).

Months ago I found out I was in bad shape, high cholesterol, etc. So I decided to start running. Got into that, love to do it. I heard about P90X, bought it and ran through the 90 day classic format. Saw some great results, lost a bit of yuck fat I had. For the past few months, I have been going to the gym, lifting heavier weights, hoping to bulk up. I am starting to see weight being added, and am pleased so far.

The issue I am having is I cannot for the life of me get rid of the belly fat. It's not much, but enough that the abs I can feel are not showing. What can I do to help them show, and get rid of the little bit of fat that is stored on top of them? I do plenty of cardio, eat healthy, etc, etc.

Should I take some sort of fat burner supplement or something? What do you guys think?

getting lean is 100% diet dependent. now there are supplements you can take to aid in this, but remember, they are called SUPPLEMENTS for a reason. it will depend on your diet and amount of cardio you do. i prefer to jump rope or swim when i am cutting. for a fat burner, Fat Free is the new product from AppNut. really solid ingredient profile. there are transdermal fat burners that are awesome as well. im not really educated in fat burners, so i will let the fat burning vets comment on supplements. as far as diet and training, i can help you there.

so go ahead and post your body fat percentage, typical days diet and training (what you do in the gym, how many times a week), amount of sleep your getting and ADLs.
