Just shot .1 ml HCG with 1.2 ml test prop

... should I be worried? I drew the HCG out of it's vial first then drew the test out of the vial. I immediately noticed the HCG didn't mix with the test (oil/water). I've heard horror stories of people mixing oil and water based juice in the same syringe causing major infections when the water gets traped in the oil and doesn't get any oxygen. Do I have anything to worry about? I honestly didn't know that HCG was water based before I mixed the two. Someone help me out here...

You had thoughts that there may be a problem but you went ahead and shot it anyways. Were you not thinking or did you just not care till after you shot it?

There are certain steps one should take when injecting and the first and foremost is that if your uncertain with any of the steps or are questioning a procedure to figure it out before continueing. You did not!!!

I have heard of people haveing problems with water/oil injections as well. But I have also heard of people saying they do injections like that on a regular basis. Give it a few days and see how it feels. I think you will be ok but I wouldn't make a habbit of doing water/oil injections.

Thanks Zack, that's what I was thinking. I've also seen people that claim to do it all the time. Plus, it was only .1 ml of water so maybe there's less of a chance of infection. But I definitely don't plan on mixing the two again in the future, thanks again...

Water gets trapped in oil? BS...

There is no harm in mixing water based and oil based solutions as long as the total volume does not exceed the capacity of the muscle which you are injecting...and they are both sterile.

As a matter of fact, since I first tried water based B-12 / test prop (250 mg/mL) I'll never shoot TP without it.

no worries brother. ive shot water based winny with oil test and never had a problem. As Chem said, its more about the volume you inject into each bodypart. One thing you might notice is that the water based will be quicker to inject when pushing down on the syringe at a constant pressure. Well atleast for my gear (smile)

Next issue in this is: HCG is kinda fragile. Is it bad for it to meet the higher BA content of the prop? While not thoroughly mixed, there may be some degradation, wouldn't you think?

I've never used HCG.... so with that in mind this could be a stupid has hell question  . I thought the HCG was a subq injection not an IM, or does it matter?

It is nearly impossible to determine whether the HCG is degraded due to barrier reaction with the BA (which is also water soluble). Interesting question though...

But I knew it would start some thoughts going. :)

A very late post here, but I've injected oil and water based in 1 dart on several occasions and regretted doing so each time. I don't believe it would cause infection, unless the solution contained impurities. But each time I've done so, it gave me a bad charlie horse for several days. No idea why, it just did, each and every time. Much less painful to just do a second injection at a different site, just mho.

read swale's(an actual medical MD) doc. he states it is fine to mix HCG and oil based products,

in other words it is ok to draw your hcg mixture, then use the same needle/syringe to draw out your oil product.. then shoot.
