Just found out my girlfriend is pregnant!

CONGRATS!!!!!!!! haaa you got them SUPER SWIMMERS even Michael Phelps couldn't touch that. Anyways congrats your going to be the best dad ever!
 
Damn this thread just made me feel super old, My step- daughter is in college. I met her when she was 5, Her father never spent a minute with her, or paid child support. Her mom and I almost got married but when we split up I stayed involved with her daughter, she spent all holidays with me, every thanksgiving and christmas and she would spend the whole summer with me, We are very close. I didnt want kids before that, but soon after I had 2 kids with my wife.
My only advice is let children be children, your only a child once and they grow up so fast, dont let your life struggles and stress into your house, dont forget whats important in life. Spend as much time as you can with them, soon they become teens and want their space.
 
I know the feeling my oldest daughter is junior in high school

This ^^^^^ my daughter is 18 months old now and my entire world now when she was first born I was working 60-80 hours a week not bc I had to or really needed the money but I did want a nicer car and junk well I did this up until she was 8 months old then I came home from work one day and she wouldn't let me hold her....like as if she really didn't know me well that broke my heart and ever since then I work a maximum of 48 hours a week normally keep it at 40 tho and I'll tell you what it's amazing I love being with her and she is at the point now where she is a daddy's girl by far...like an old guy once told me "you have your whole life to make money but only so much time with your family....you can alway make money but you CAN'T make time"

Those are some good words of wisdom. CONGRATS on the baby!... Still trying to convince the fiancé to conceive me one wen I'm 21.

This awesome man, I really have a lot of respect for you!

I'm going to definitely keep you guys up to date! We go in to hear the heart beat in 3 weeks
