Just a thought

Like I have mentioned before.. I am the president of a 4x4 club, and I am a administrator of our forum..
I have seen several times on here that there are alot of newbie questions from individuals , including me.. I have a suggestion that may help on here .. Could be worth a try .. But its up the the guy who is running the board..
On a few boards that I use while looking for 4x4 info, they have a newbie's area where they can ask questions , and not have to worry about someone coming unglued on them for not searching ... In the 4x4 world, as in here, You have your veterans, and you have your newbies.. So maybe if you gave them a area to post in, the vets can venture in there and answer questions to help them out if they like.. If they don't want to, then they do not have to worry about being troubled by the newbie questions as much... Yes, every so often, A newbie question may get post in a area where it does not apply, but then the moderator or administrator can move it..

Just a idea or suggestion... What do you think ???
I know it works well in some forums..

Thanks

Personally, I think this site is past excellent.

I now HATE bb.com because of this exact reason, they completely welcome seemless lazy newbs. I have no problem with a newb asking any sort of question as long as they have made some sort of attempt to educate themself first.

A simple "i tried search but couldn't find any information on creatine" will not cut it.

For the sanity of all members, those newbs can go to bb.com and join the clown fest. Not here.

Also, one great thing about AM is that its great this place hasn't got extreeemely popular.

LOL ... Oh well, I was just trying to help... Yes, I agree with people searching I go to one of the most viscious board that I know of that will flame you if you post up something without doing a search, or if you post it in the wrong area..
Its pirate4x4.com I mean they will seriously do a great flame job on ya.. But they eventually put a newbie section in just because some of the questions were really newbie questions..

I do agree and have said it in here before.. This is a great board, and it has alot of great people on it that have helped me out greatly, and I do appreicate it...

Like I said, I this was just a though.. Guess I should have search this one out... My bad..:icon_lol:

Hehe.

Sting - noobs would likely still venture into the anabolics section and post away aimlessly anyway.

Rage - the place seems to me to have really exploded recently. Probably due to the large amount of sponsors and that it is basically Designer Supps' home (seemingly).
I mean, we've got over 19k members.

I think if you ran a search you would find that this before has been suggested. :icon_lol:

Back to the point. All of the information is out there. You just need to take the time to find it instead of looking for yet another shortcut. Nothing is of any more value of doing a thorough search which includes reading up on: logs, biochemistry, metabolism, hormones, etc.

Less questions, more reading.

Wait - you are on Pirate? The forum that the Wenzel kid was exposed on?

That thread was the biggest waste land I've ever seen on a board. It filled with retards in like a day and was like 30 pages longer with people posting just flat out crap.

I was entertained though.

Can you define for me what the acronym HPTA is yet?
What? Its not the Homosexual Parents & Teachers Association?

What is HPTA ???
How about ...((( hypothalamic pituitary testicular axis )))

As for Pirate and the post on what you were talking about.. Yeah, I saw it.. I didnt really pay much attention to it...
But Pirate has alot of good info in it to if you will search to.. But just like here... Alot of times you have to ask questions to make sure your right..

Whoa....yea but for me it still has that very homey feeling. AM holds integretity which is why this forum is such a success.
