Finally the time is here. My first workout/supplement log. I must be the last one to throw the log here with HUMAPRO. Better late than never.

Thank You, ManimalPatB for giving me the opportunity to log this.

I would be doing exactly the way people have been recommending; 1 scoop Pre and 1 scoop Post workout. Not going to give a lowdown on the supplement facts. Pictures are below. Got the Green Apple Candy flavour.

Rolling into 2nd month of my cut. So, this is perfect timing for me to lose some fat.

My stats
Age- 31
Height- 5ft 7”
Weight- 167lbs
Fat %- ~15.5% (last I checked). Not sure how accurate this is.

PHAT Training
Monday- Upper Body Strength
Tuesday- Lower Body Strength
Wednesday- Rest (may be.. just may be cardio)
Thursday- Back and Shoulder Hypertrophy
Friday- Lower Body Hypertrophy
Saturday- Chest and Arms Hypertrophy
Sunday- Rest

Never done PHAT. So, I am totally excited to give this a go. The first couple of weeks PHAT is known to be tough. I am counting on HUMAPRO to get me through this period.

My only expectation is, better recovery between sets.

Diet is going to be fairly simple. High Protein, some good fats (almonds, chia seeds) and low carbs. I don’t count my Macros but have a fair idea about how much I eat. So, I am good there.

Compounds Weights I lift ATM
Squats- 375lbs (3-4reps)
Deadlift- 405lbs (2reps)
Bench- 220lbs (4reps)
OHP- 135lbs (4reps)
Bend Over Rows- 205lbs (5reps)

Supplements
Oximega, Anavite, KSM66, ZMA, Creatine (since I am not using Whey for a month. May have to just chug it with water)

No Whey, No PWO. Let the fun begin.
 
Also in! You're looking beefy already, can't imagine where you'll end up!
 
In! Taking this stuff now too. Interested to see my own results as well. Taking this along side whey protein as I don’t think it can fully compensate for 25 grams protein.
 
I'm in. I loved Humapro. Great stuff.
 
Will increase my protein intake with some extra chicken/beef. But, will definitely stay away from Whey. Let's see how it goes. It's an experiment.

Agreed! I’m also bulking so it will be interesting to see how it compares to bulking w/o it.
 
Did you take Whey along or no?
Yeah, I took it in addition to my normal whey protein shakes. 20 minutes before and after workouts.
 
have you tried ksm66 before? for some (me included) it gives nasty lethargy even when dosed only prior to bed time and without a preworkout its asking for torture. so just fyi and subbed.

I have been on KSM for more than 6 months now and only take it Pre-bed. Never experienced lethargy. I take KSM and ZMA pre-bed and get a good sleep. Wake up not being groggy.

Day 1- PHAT Upper Body Strength

Took my first serving 20mins Pre-workout. I am stepping into the gym after a week.

Green Apple Candy flavour was WOW! Loved it. I think everyone here would agree the flavour is on point. Reminded me of the candies I used to eat as a child. The flavour had the perfect blend of sweet and sourness. Awesome job! Mixability wasn’t great at 10 ounce. Post workout I did it with 12 ounce and it dissolved pretty well (will upload pictures later. On my mobile device now).

My major lifts

Bent Over Rows- 225lbs x 3
Bench Press- 225lbs x 3
T-bar row- 135 x 8

I honestly had great energy and drive through out the workout. My body just didn’t give up and rest periods were reduced to 45secs between sets and exercises. Overall a very good day 1.

Tomorrow is Lower Body Strength. This is when things are going to get interesting.
 
Looks like I am the only fool trying it as a protein replacement.
I was just too much of a wuss to actually try doing that. Lol.

Day 2- LOWER BODY Strength

This would be a true test for me. I usually take 2-3mins between Squat sets. Will report back with my experience.

Reporting out today’s workout.

I am officially a believer. HUMAPRO worked great for me today. Since I am new to PHAT, my workout wasn’t too heavy or wasn’t breaking any PRs. But, had some decent lifts. My rest period was about a minute today. Had enough energy left in the tank to do at least a few more rounds of Squats. But, I just stuck to the program. Will make some adjustments as I mature into this program.

My major lifts were

Squats- 370lbs x 6
Deadlift- 370lbs x 5
Hack Squat (smith machine)- 225lbs x 8

Getting my lean body mass, fat% and all that checked tomorrow. I should have done this before getting on HUMAPRO. Guess 2days is not going to matter. This is to see what difference will HUMAPRO bring to my gains. Can this truly be a protein replacement.

The flavour I have is 5th on your list. But still very good. I will definitely try the Southern Sweet Tea and Strawberry Kiwi. Not a pineapple or orange guy.

Meal 2- 5 egg whites
Meal 3- 200gms of chicken breast, 1/4th cup rice and some veggies
Pre-workout- Meal 3 is usually just 90mins before the workout. So, nothing. Now, I take HUMAPRO
Post- used to be Whey. Now HUMAPRO and chicken breast/beef 100gms with wheat cake or 1/4th cup rice
Last meal- 150gms of Chicken breast/beef with/without some wheat cake or rice.

Do you happen to track your calories and macros to know exactly how much protein you are getting each day?
 
I get around 160-170gms of Protein everyday.

I would not go lower then 170. I weigh 180 and shoot for somewhere between 180-200. That’s around 1 gram per pound of bodyweight. This is my goal and has worked well for me.

So, I am right on target. And the report shows protein in my body is more than optimal range. I am just trying to find where and what needs to be improved.
 
Babysitting today. Was just letting him be. This is what happens when dad is babysitting. Lol..

Another good workout. Rest period was between 30-45secs. I have never had such short rest periods between sets or exercise. May be it’s too early to judge recovery. But, I feel great after workouts and the next day.

If there is a sale, I am definitely stocking up on HUMAPRO. If not anything, the flavour itself will get anyone to buy again.

You did better then me because my gym was closed, so no workout. There may be some black friday sales
 
Day 4- Lower Body Hypertrophy

I think it’s settled now. 4 days, 4 different workouts and my diet, mood, activity levels different. But, one thing that remained consistent was how I performed in the gym

Today’s workout summary

Squats (Speed Set)- 225 x 6 x 3
Leg Press- 540 x 15, 12
Leg Extension- 135 x 20, 160 x 15, 185 x 12
Hack Squat (smith machine)- 225 x 8
Romanian Deadlift- 225 x 6

The rest of the day wasn’t too good. Met some friends and had a few beers and bad eating. I feel sick now (guilty sick)
