Joint pain

Personally fish oil and Turmeric/Curcumin helps me. There are some great joint products too, but I haven't needed those. I just need to knock down the inflammation a bit and I'm fine.

I'm taking turmeric/curcumin currently. Not sure it is helping. Probably is but I will add fish oil in the mix and see if that helps. Thank you.

For me it's only my knees. The other thing that helps me is just making sure I'm moving in a good full range of motion everyday. I do deep bodyweight squats and lunges everyday. If I don't do that or lift for a week my knees hurt the next time I squat. SNS has a respected joint formula as well that you could check out.

SNS Joint Support XT has helped by wife, brother in law, and coworker immensely.

A lot of people have problem absorbing basic curcumin supplements properly. Here is a link to the Elite Curcumin write up, where the absorption issue is discussed in some detail: https://seriousnutritionsolutions.com/product/elite-curcumin/

My top 2 choices for joint pain would be:
You can find a lot of feedback on both of those here on AM.

It may not be designed strictly for joint support, but BASIS is amazing for my joints. Plus it has lots of other great benefits.

Totally agree with the other joint support recs too.

Great. I will go ahead and grab a few bottles. Thank you sir.

You're very welcome. If you have any questions, please let me know. I'm glad to help.

Great article about cucurmin. Thank you for taking the time to post it. Do either of the joint supps stand out more than the other or they are both great?

SNS Joint Support XT. Amazing stuff, I take 4 daily with no plans of ever stopping.

If you actually injure yourself and need relief, XPG Curcuprime is the best solution for that. 2 pumps onto the effected area before bed, and 99% of the time you wake up with no more pain or inflammation. Always have a bottle of the stuff in my house which myself & my partner use whenever needed.

I have light pains in my shoulders, right hip and both knees. Lower back is screwed too. I work through the pains but would be great to not have the pain. I will take your word and try the Curcuprime as well. Thank you for the advice.

Transdermal XPG CurcuPrime Gel is my go to for joint pain, bonus points for being able to apply it right where the pain is.

If I was gonna go a pill route, CEL Joint Edge would probably be my pick, but can't go wrong with SNS Joint Support either.

Sounds like the same few products are what everyone uses and for good reason. Thank you for your input.

Do you know what's causing your joint pain?
I can't say for sure but I have been petty hard on my body over the years and I use to run flat footed as well. I could probably do better at stretching and that might help a bit but I can't say 100% what is actually causing the pain.

Joint Support XT and Joint Edge are both great products.

It isn't a case of where one is better than the other for everyone - one may work better for one person and the other may work better for the next person. They have a lot of similarities and a few small differences.

For curcumin, Elite Curcumin, the product I linked the write up to, is a great form of curcumin for oral use.

CurcuPrime Gel as mentioned in the thread is great for aches and pains. I have nerve damage due on my shin due to a bad accident a few years ago and it helps me a lot with that. I use Elite Curcumin for oral curcumin, but use CurcuPrime Gel on my shin and any other areas that bother me.

Do you have the CurcuPrime Gel as well? I think I would benefit from both that and the Joint Support XT.

The Xtreme Performance Gels website has taken longer than expected to launch so we had listed the XPG products on the SNS website for sale in the meantime. And any discount codes that can be used on SNS products can be used on XPG products too.

CurcuPrime Gel - 1 bottle - https://seriousnutritionsolutions.com/product/xpg-curcuprime-gel-1-bottle/
CurcuPrime Gel - discounted 3 bottle multi-pack - https://seriousnutritionsolutions.com/product/xpg-curcuprime-gel-3-bottle-multi-pack/

Also, for anyone that is looking to buy more than 1 bottle, there are Joint Support XT and Joint Edge discounted multi-packs available too.

You could try L-proline, L-Lysine & L-choline. It's really for building tendon strength, but when i wasn't able to get to the gym for a couple of weeks, my knees stiffened up. Couldn't do squats. After 4 days on the combo of those tendon strengtheners, knee pain gone.
I know those come in injectable form specifically for joint and tendon issues too. May be good to try out and see if it helps for sure.

The SNS Joint Support XT + Cissus XT combo has steadily kept my joints in check. It is very reliable and effective. I dose them first thing in the am and then again in the evening (split up the doses).

Great combo and hard to beat in my opinion on effectiveness and price. Glad we carry both of these at Strong Supplement Shop as well!

Joint Support XT is AMAZING as well
Definitely agreed here! My go to joint supplement and for $30 bucks it's a deal

I used it in powder form. Bought it from a health food store. Just mixed it daily with the protein powder & creatine. Didn't know it was injectable. - use triple the amount recommended on the bottles (powder form) or not much benefit.
Yeah that’s exactly the problem with some powdered amino acids, their oral bioavailability is poor. Injectable has better bioavailability if your not afraid of needles.

As said above- Joint Edge is great but I think most people forget about Cissus. Cissus XT is a staple for me. It's more for tendons/ligaments but all that ties together with your joints and Cissus has lots of other benefits as well and is cheap!

high concentrated american or norweigan trygleceride form fish oil with a minimum of 1260mg omega 3 per serving (containing no less than mimimum 600mg EPA, 400 mg DHA , 60mg DPA and 200 mg other omega-3 fatty acids. And preferebly 1-3 servings per day depeding on the amount and severity of the joint pain. This has been a life changer for me. a long with Hyaluronic acid 400mg and 40ml of hydrolized collagen bovine type 1+3
dalton 2000.

Dr eric berg said a omega 3 poor diet is often the reason and cause for sore muscles and bone pain.

I use injectable glucosamine, msm, condrotin works great come mixed in a vial. Called joints of steel.from a amino site. And somtimes somthing called joint support, but renamed both of them. Can't remember the new title, but I found the injectable is the only thing that helps me. But I've also has stem cells and prp twice in the past so if your not to far gone the orals should help alot too

I use BPC-157 and TB-500, injected into sub-q tissue near the joint. Alleviates the pain almost immediately. But the pain returns the next time I go heavy. I think I may need to inject daily instead of only when it hurts.

Sounds like you could have some damage that needs medical attention. I had the same thing with my knees. Fine for a while and then when I did some heavy lifting they hurt. Even when treating it with BPC.

Thanks for the reply!

What was your damage? I could have damage for sure. But I feel it’s more likely just age related, since I’m ancient. It didn’t hurt when I first started lifting again after years of nothing. But I insisted on going as heavy as a could like I used to do back in the day.

On a positive note I’ve since gone lighter and just do more reps, still to failure though. This seems to have helped tremendously. I’ve also been taking the stack daily, but not site injected.

I have a few. Knees need ortho for meniscus and I’m sure arthritis. Shoulder was redone on the left side and bicep reattached. Discs shot in neck and lower back. I had surgeries and therapy. Now I deal with it which isn’t always the best.
