Jim's Training to Become a Human Tank!

Events have been released, no weights yet, but probably heavy as ****.

Max Axle DL (3 Attempts)
Conans Wheel
60 second Max Reps Log C+P
Arm over Arm vehicle pull
Stone Load to Boxes

Manly events. Dang. Should be a blast to see what everyone brings including you. Which ones do you feel most confident about?

This is the Texas Strongest right?

I'm sure you must be disappointed...just try to salvage what you can, learn, and have fun. Sorry to hear it isn't fun so far for you.

I might be done already. Gonna give the conans a try, but if it doesn't lossen up I won't be able to do any of the other events.

Took the 600# for 1/2 rotation plus 8' on the Conan.

Didn't hurt too bad, beat one other guy.

That sucks man, sorry to hear. It happens and you'll just have to come back stronger next time.

0 on the 225 Log C+P, but I could actually bend down (squat/bend) to the log.

Couldn't get it off the ground though.

You might want to call it a day and do some traction stuff on the back when you can. Sucks, but I'd hate to see it suck more.

There's nothing more here that I can do for it.

I'm just stretching it out between events and doing what I can.

Arm over Arm pull is done, pulled it like 20'.

Grip was the real issue. Back is stiff still, but it didn't hurt during the pull. I just couldn't keep the rope in my hands.

Welp that sucks. He were you predicting to do on the events?

Check out the stuff mike t does after pulling his back out in the beginning. I know superD does this stuff too, this vid was just the one in my recent feed.

I wasn't really predicting anything, didn't learn the weights until the competition had started.

I've never really axle deadlifted before, so I had no real expectations there, but I only pull 425 on a TPB so that opening weight was much heavier than I would've liked. (I would've picked 350 or so probably)

I've only done Conan once, and don't even know what that weight was.

My best log C+P is 200, I did it back in December/January IIRC. And I've only done 210 for 2 off boxes since then. I figured I might be able to do one.

Arm over Arm pull....grip was the real limiter there. If my grip was stronger I'm sure I'd have gotten to a point where it hurt to do it, but that wasn't the case.

Stones.....well. Last time I tried to load a stone to that height I passed out. I would've wanted the 275 to the lower platform, and could probably have gotten the 250 to the 56" platform.
