I can still dig the action from DBZ, honestly. It was pretty sweet. I never liked all the in-between stuff, which did constitute 85% of that show, but the 15% was still very up there.

I liked Cowboy Bebop, GITS not as much. I would still watch it, but I missed way too many episodes to have any idea what was going on lol.

I was never a big fan of ATHF. I don't typically like those types of TV shows.

I watch DBZ on the internet while I'm eating, usually. My wife had never seen it so I got her watching it before I joined the army (original dragonball), we're getting close to the end of DBZ now.

Log Press Accumulation 8's Wave

Log Press from Rack: 170 x 5, 190 x 5, 200 x 2 (left arm buckled), 200 x 4 (PR)

Wanted either 190 x 5 or 200 x 5, the 190 looked good (although it felt awful lol) so I took the 200 for a ride. My arm just buckled under the 3rd rep so I took a couple of minutes and went back for it. Only got 4, but my previous best was 3 so I'm not too disappointed with that.

Log Clean + Press: 120 x 8 x 4 (strict), 120 x 5--4 (5 strict, 4 push)

Triceps were not having anything to do with that last set lol. I'm thinking that for the Accumulation/Intensification week for log press I will be doing them strict (as much as possible) and then doing the last set on Realization week all as Push Presses (no jerks).

a1. DB Rows: 100 x 12 x 3 (straps)
a2. HG Chins: BW x 5, BW x 3, BW x 2 (LOL)

Smoked lol. Those DB Rows were a TERRIBLE idea.

OH Tricep Ext. : MD Black x 50 (2 sets to complete)

I will use a bigger band for these next time. This workout was a ball buster, I was sucking so much wind on those DB Rows.



This volume is a terrible, terrible thing.
 
You're getting pretty good at putting shït over your head. Must come in handy when putting cereal boxes back on top of the pantry. I'm getting awfully curious as to where your bench press is sitting at these days.

My close grip is feeling pretty good lol. I'll also be incline benching on Friday's now so we'll see how that goes.
 
I had the same thoughts as Herder on thinking it may have helped your bench.

Sled Pull for sure, if you have a harness you can attach it to your vehicle and pull it.

Will you be able to get a rope to hold onto, because that makes a big difference IME.

No lead rope they said, unless they add one the day of, I don't have a harness. Should have no problem pulling a sled with a harness.

Oh, then it won't make as much of a difference to use the sled since there is no lead rope.

In that case, just do heavy sled pulls. The idea is to take short, quick steps and minimize the amount of time spent trying to move with one leg, and no matter what don't stop moving your feet because once that momentum is gone....it can be hard to get back.

nice game jimbo, my ball is coming out weds for the first time in a couple months.

usually, this leads to around a 570-580..

I'm only on the league to be the DD lol, I'm actually not bad because my AVG is only a 135 or so and I am bowling above that pretty consistently now.

I was actually bowling like shít up until the 9th frame of our second game and struck out from there to get a 150 lol. I don't know what happened with the 3rd game, I was bowling poorly and saw the dude get a 300 and then struck out lol. (except for the 3rd ball in the 10th, I left a 5 pin).

I used to league bowl. Been a while now. My dad and bro still do. I have no time sadly.
