Jim knows his ****. All of his programs are effective. However, IMO you would be better suited to run a program like 5/3/1 to pack on size and strength. Eat like a horse, and use hypertrophy based assistance movements. You'll be tickled ****less with your gains.

I did shortcut to size (modified it a bit) two years ago for am 8 week run. I liked it but from seeing your post history your best bet would be to follow all of the advice given to you. Eat a sh*t ton of good food and follow a basic, proven program til you plateau.

stick with 1 program for 6 months before you start playing the leap frog game

This dude is all over the place! It's one thing to have questions man, but you have gotten good advice in the other multiple threads you have started. Pick a program, stick to it for a bit. If it's not working for you, THEN ask more questions.
Not trying to sound like a prick, but when you get the right advice the first 5 times you ask, and then continue the same old sh*t, guys are gonna catch on and stop answering you.
