JG93 6 week EPI Cycle Log

Day 10:
Still no super changes today.

Woke up and ribs and back were sore! Sore all day,
Had to hold my breath while doing skull crushers to keep away the pain.
Just to ease your minds, when I broke them, number 5 came off my back, so it is sensitive!
Any kind of twisting motion does it, yesterday I pushed a little to hard and now I'm paying for it!
Not gonna slow me down!

The word of the day is LETHARGIC.
Today ugh.. Just a sleepy day. Going to pick up some caffeine pills like I should have earlier, and combat that situation.

Shoulders/arms today.
Dry joints, behind the elbow! Going to up the fish oil and keep pushing.
The lethargy has really cut a lot of my motivation. With caffeine I'll be good as new.

Gym was ok, a little sleepy today.
Lifts as normal, recovery as well.

Not much to press on except the sides.

Tomorrow is leg day, which I have been putting off, but gotta do it!

Walked for an hour and gonna throw in some sit ups push ups tonight before bed.
 
Epi really kicks in around week 3. You should start to notice some big strength increases around that time. You should also start to notice some trimming up going on as long as the diet is good.

Running epi solo will a lot of times make you lethargic. Running something like stano along side can really be helpful.

The reality of it is your body is more anabolic right now so take advantage of it and push through.

Yea, waiting till week 3 really stinks, I am debating on using something else with it.
I'm definitely gonna push through and make everything count!
 
Day 11:
Phew. Coffee really got me going! Feel like a crack head.
Outside doing yard work and I felt like doing push ups... Brings for a nice conversation with the neighbors...
Ha!!
So today is leg day, my ribs are feeling much better. I am going to have to incorporate less strenuous ab/side workouts in more days a week. To keep them on track

Nipples seem to get hard at random times... mixedup what's this about? Anything to worry about?

No soreness or anything.

Going to go for an hour walk soon and the gym later like usual.
I want to switch gyms, mine is small, the other gym is huge. And cheap, a powerlifting gym with a bunch of juice monkeys!

So much equipment that I wouldn't know where to start!
Think I'm gonna change today.
 
Unless,u have noticeable puffiness
or soreness I wouldn't worry. I only worry if it hurts like when I sprint
 
Day 11:
So I drank two large coffees this morning, at around 12:30 I decided to switch gyms.
Huge gym over 10,000 sq. ft
Cheap and more my style.

The caffeine is what I have been missing the past week. I really noticed a difference when I went today, went at a different time than usual but I liked it.
Chest back abs today.
Ribs still noticeably sore, a little impeding but still got to push.
I was a monster again today, glad to find that when I cut caffeine out that was my lethargy issue.

I'm still pretty wired.
I picked up some beta alinene for a pre workout( little help here?)
1 tps beta, 1 tps creatine. Does that work? mixedup Jebrook yates84?
For a pre workout.

My pump is still a little rough, but I don't want to take to much taurine and lose the tingles.

For example.
Super set:
135x15
Chin ups (with help)
135x12
Chin ups
135x8
Chin ups
135x6
Chin ups

I was super pumped. I can lift it, that's light weight, just get massive pump by rep 8 on any set.

Feel great today, going to do push ups x 100 sit ups x100
After my 1 hour walk.

Caffeine has my going great today.
My appetite is slim to none, just eating because I need to...
I can suffice on 1000 calories a day it seems (except my post workout is 350 cal)
Seeing good shoulder and arms today.

Getting excited.
Hopefully I start shedding stomach and side fat.
Don't mind the unfinished tats. Need more time in the day!
 
from my understanding, creatine and beta alanine arent going to give you any immediate result, as it is expected from a preworkout. these have to be taken everyday for a period of time to see the benefits. the only reason beta alanine is put in preworkouts is because it gives the tingly feeling and people think that their preworkout is working

Spent the money on it.
I'll just dose it 4x a day for a week then pre workout? Will that work?
 
Idk a lot about beta alanine but I do know how creatine works. For creatine you need to take 5g a day, every day. You won't see any added benefits from getting any more. Beta alanine also works in a similar way in that you need to take like 7g (I think, I'm not sure exactly how much) everyday.

Since you're wanting a pre workout, these won't help you immediately but after some time they will definitely help you out. For a preworkout you could just take energy drinks. I've seen monster came up with zero calorie energy drinks and I've used them couple of days and I liked it.

I prefer red bull. If all it is is caffeine, I'll stick to creatine and beta.
I can wait for the added benefits, no big deal. I am doing a strictly epistane log, so I am looking to combat these side affects with well known products.
Like I said, past week I have been very lethargic. I had completely cut out caffeine and was drinking strictly water (132)oz a day.
I drank a large skim cappuccino and a large coffee this morning.
(Love coffee). And my day has been wired. (Without the jitters)
So if I can either do caffeine pills, or get a jumpstart to my morning, my day has had 0 lethargy and completely motivated.
Realizing now that the great feeling of epi was hidden behind all that, with that caffeine I feel great.
As for pre workout, I am really hoping to just get blood moving in the veins.
That way I don't pump out so much!
 
Day 12:
Today was good, loving the new gym.

Legs today,
Not much to talk about, one hour walk in the heat, then legs.
Before I left I had to get in a few shrugs and dips.

Tomorrow is shoulders/arms, my favorite day!
Long hard workout.
Gotta start pushing the abs a bit harder, put a sweat belt on and going to be using it for the remainder of the cycle.
Usually fat targeting doesn't help, but at least I can sweat the mid section!

Since I incorporated a morning skim latte I have been feeling great all day.

Gonna cheat on the diet Sunday and go out to eat some grub!
Sunday is supposed to be my day off, I just feel like I don't need any days off. I recover super fast. So I am gonna tinker around the gym Sunday with abs and maybe traps.

Weight staying the same. Muscles filling in nice.
Can see small transformations, excited to hit week 3 so I can start the major ones.
Really enjoying this first cycle.
 
Got caught up in here. Looking good man. Just an fyi, your Epi pumps haven't truly showned their face yet. It's gunna get fun over the next week or so ?

Glad to have you, I'm on 2,000mg of taurine and I still pump pretty fast with light weight super set reps.
Glad to know I am going to get more!
I thought about pushing up to 4,000mg a day.
The first moment I get pumped on rep 3 at low weight. Is when I start swallowing taurine!

Ah, it is wonderful though. Love the pump!
 
Day 13:
Great breakfast, getting ready to start the day, presumably yard sailing this morning with the wife...
Gym a bit later. I love coffee in the morning it makes my whole day better.

LMAO! Quick put a cork in it you're losing gains...just kiddin man. Probably just something didn't agree with your stomach is all. You still have to battle normal ordinary ailments while on cycle. Probably that is all it is. Get some rest and keep an eye on it if it persists.

After the gym I went to ruby Tuesday and gorged myself, then came home and played baseball.
Raced some kids and then 3 hours of man hunt.
(My son is younger and they wouldn't let him play so I had to play so he could)
Whooped my ass.
Although it was much more entertaining than running on a treadmill!

Tomorrow is gym day off,
Then back at it Monday.

All in all good day.

Sounds like a good time! My son gets left out a lot too because he is 3-4 years younger than everyone. Not all dad's would do that. Kudos man.

Yea, gotta keep them active! Or else it is play station and chocolate chips anymore!
Won't pretend I don't have fun! Best thing is get to see the kid smile!

Day 14:
Gym day off, Worn out! Cardio again with baseball and manhunt again tonight

Went out and bought bases for the neighborhood kids and my son. they were using rags.
ankles killing me.
Excited to get back into the gym tomorrow!!
 
Day 15: gym day off

needed it, my legs are killing me! over worked i suppose!
gonna hit it hard tomorrow, and add sunday since i took today off!
no side feelings, just sore!

need gymmm!
