i have read that No x is bad for you because it has so much caffine that it constricts the blood vessles not allowing for creatine and protein and blood to get to your muscle very efficently during your workout. i was wondering if jack3d has the same effects? Is is loaded with caffine? It seems like it gets great reviews...what do you guys know or think?

It is true caffeine constricts your blood vessels causing your blood pressure to rise, as far as it hindering protein and creatine from reaching your muscles, i would not worry about it. There are many advantages to using a caffeine supp before working out and they outway the negs. Ive read about studies where caffeine has been shown to increase calcium in your muscles which in return give you more power...is it gonna be like hulk strength, no not at all but you will have an edge and dosed properly it will give you focus and drive.

I believe your referring to NO Xplode when you mentioned NO x, NO Xplode to me just seems like a sloppily thrown together pre workout, lots of fillers you dont need, i get no focus from it, actually very jittery and horrible workouts. Pre workouts are very user specific but i would give jack3d a try, much more balanced i think and im not hyperventilating putting plates on the bar...just my .02

Jack3d is definitely a good supplement.
I know caffeine constricts your blood vessels, as it raises blood pressure etc. But I have always wondered whether is actually affects blood flow to working muscles after Nitric Oxide release? So we know at rest caffeine acts as a constrictor but does it actually have a negative affect upon Nitric Oxide release? Can anybody answer this?

Also "mesomorph" by APS is worth checking out if you like Jack3d. It used to contain GPLC but they took it out for some reason... Still a good preworkout, definite strength boosts, made a PR on Deads with it today, 405lb*3 at a bodyweight of 150lb's. o.O

Unless I'm mistaken, I saw a post by a rep some time ago claiming that Jack3d has 66mg of caffeine per scoop, so 200mg in the maximum 3 scoops.

good thread. I heard that caffeine reduces the effectiveness of creatine, yet many companies mix both together. Bump. Want an answer.
