Is this true?

Someone sent me this...

Are you comfortable with the knowledge that cycling means you will NEED to be on TRT for the rest of your life at some point? That's something nobody tells you in the beginning, that stopping and starting your natty production via cycling exogenous hormones will increase the wear and tear on your hpta.

Are you comfortable with the idea of always taking something to help optimize your hormones? Be it injections, pills, creams, drugs like Clomid and Nolva, herbals like longjack and maca. The idea of having shrunk balls or pinning hcg into your belly fat on a routine basis??

These are the "big picture" questions to using steroids that people don't ask. It is a particular lifestyle, having to take your endocrine system into your own hands.

Let's view other lifestyle choices in comparison.

Smoking and drinking.
Doing drugs.
Eating unhealthy.
Not exercising.

What detriments long term do those activities have on your organs and reproductive system?

What industry are you supporting by doing these things to yourself? What power are you giving to them at the detriment to your health and possibly others by action? Money for lobbyists to keep real naturals available pushed aside? MJ.

This is absolutely 100% true. If you aren't ready to shoot testosterone into your body every week till the day you die than don't start cycling anything hormonal. I'm gonna stock up on test e before Obama starts WW3 and the US is in shambles

Once you're on TRT it'll be damn near impossible to go back after a while, your body will just stop producing test naturally.

If you aren't willing to pin for the rest of your life then don't **** with your hormones. EVERY time you mess with your body's natural production there's a chance you may never recover. A small chance that has desasterous consequences if you aren't willing to pin.

You don't need to take anything hormonal to gain 8-10 lbs, if thats all you want.

Won't happen overnight, but with diet, routine, rest, and maybe even the aid of some natty supps, you can certainly achieve that.

That can be false hope you're giving him. Right now I'm 6' and 215lbs. Just started cutting and I know I'll cut down to 190lbs because I always cut down to 190lbs now. My goal (as you can tell by my name) was to get to 210lbs - that's not going to happen. I've adjusted those expectations down to 200lbs and now down to 195lbs but even that seems a bit out of reach. You have to accept that your body will only grow so much naturally. I've also thought about doing that "just 1 PH cycle" to gain those glorious 5 - 10lbs but I still struggle internally with the decision.

How old are you? Bloodwork can help you with areas to improve and possibly trt and then maybe you can throw in the variables, all theoretical but just thinkin

I'm 28. Obviously I plan on getting bloods done prior to running any PHs (if I decide to take that leap). I just think there is a weird concept on these forums where people think they can gain 5-10lbs every year naturally. Don't get me wrong, I've gained an insane amount of weight. I used to he 150lbs! So I've gained 40lbs of lean mass. But I'm lucky if I gain 1 or 2lbs a year now.

Yeah I used to be 155 and I went to 175. But I can't get passed it. I've worked out almost five years now and I try to gain the weight but it doesn't seem to ever get past 175 no matter what

I think it's possible for just one cycle. But not worth the risk if all the above is true

Listen to us, you came here for our experiences and opinions. Cycling with legit drugs (not these bull**** andros) is addicting as shyt. You see your body literally changes before your eyes to whatever you want it to be. It feels like the ultimate control over yourself. So believe me, you won't just cycle once. Never once heard of someone just doing a single cycle and being like yup that's it I'm done with cycling. Because you'll want another 10lbs of muscle. And another, and wanna be harder, and stronger. Its a game of "never enough"

I can definitely see this. It's a slippery slope. It's like when I started working out and was 150 and wanted to get to 165... then 175.. then 180.. then 190.. now 200. I just can't touch the real gear myself. In all honesty, I just want something to help me keep my strength when I cut, which is why I started looking at 1-DHEA. I've tried so much natural stuff in the past that doesn't work that I've become so skeptical of everything now. But I do fear getting caught in that slippery slope... just 10 more pounds.... just 5 more pounds... just 20lbs more to my bench...

Do sarms apply to this also?

Of course. They will suppress your endogenous production and bind to/act on androgen receptors selectively (Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator) similar to actual androgens.

Sounds like the guy you talked to gave you some hard truth you weren't expecting to get, perhaps

I cycled once, said I'd only do it once, and here I am planning another cycle. The steroids themselves aren't addicting, but seeing your body change and become what you want it to be is. I'm not weak minded or have a lack of will power, but seeing such dramatic transformations will mess with your head. Guaranteed

Haha much appreciated, I was just checking out what other people had to say. Looks like he knows what he's saying lol

i just didn't know once you do a cycle you have to do it the rest of your life to maintain
You don't, but there's a risk that you will have too. And if you're past your natural genetic potential then yes you have to keep running to maintain.

When you play with your hormones there's always a risk you won't return back to normal. It's like jail, if you aren't willing to do the time (trt forever), then don't do the crime....

So if I'm 27, 175 and I gain 10 pounds off halo or something and after that most likely my body won't produce on it's on for me to stay close to 185

I guess I'm a little confused on what the worst case is...

Andropause. The cessation of natural testosterone in a male. While it's rare for this to happen completely, most guys who cycle experience low or lower natural levels off cycle, often significantly sooner than the average male will experience low t levels naturally.

Natty production is extremely individual, so some guys won't miss a beat between cycles hardly. And I also know 2 guys on TRT after a single 3wk oral cycle, true life. They couldn't get things to fire back up right afterward.

Do you know any retired ifbb Pros that look as big as their competition days? Of course not. As they were past their natural limits, nothing could sustain that level of muscularity after discontinuing the grams of drugs they were taking. It's all temporary. Like life lol

Are there any products that help that don't have this effect?

FOOD. And sleep. Hand to God. Without them you will be forever small. With, you can be as heavy as your frame will allow.

All the drugs in the world won't create tissue without the nutrients to grow. And on that note, it's time for another bowl of chicken and jasmine rice/black beans covered in wing sauce!
