Is it Bad to Use Minibands Too Much?

Hi Everyone,

Over the years, I sometimes have used a miniband around my ankles or near my knees. People praise more glute activation, working the muscles on the side of the leg, etc.

1. Would it be wrong to use the mini-band, around my ankles or knees, for entire workouts? Can we explain why?

2. I know with weighted belts, it is a bad idea, because it prevents trunk stabilizer muscles. There are some people who always use weighted belts, then try a workout without, and their back is killing them because of it.

3. Right now, I am just enjoying lots of 5-10-5 side steps, etc. I really feel like my whole body strength is developing, weak links are catching up, etc.
