Then you don't need the aminos to gain weight. You need to be in a caloric surplus like Sean said.i m trying to gain weight

negged - for anything ever referencing the IIFYM sillinessoke:
gonna be an individual process, no real good "cookie-cutter" protocol to roll with..Okay let me ask you this. How many calories to start with when trying to gain weight?Would you start off with a certain ammount and adjust it accordingly after a couple weeks?I am here to learn.

that said, one can start conservatively at ~500cals over BMR, and adjust from there accordingly....also, play with the sources of those cals, ie use more fats and keep carbs conservative, or vice versa..
the problem with these theories of bulking, much like ppl just jumping into radical cutting endeavors, is converse but the same as ppl just jump into xyz protocol and mass calories and macro splits or what have you, without any real feel for what would benefit THEM individually..
and the wheels of ignorance and uselessness spin and spin some more
I was just joking above obviously with the neg comment - but I care not for the whole ideology of IIFYM, it is rudimentary and does no justice to anyone, IMO
