Is glucuronidation desirable?

Hi,

I am thinking of supplementing with Calcium D Glucarate, as it promotes the process of glucuronidation within the body, by which the liver excretes toxins and steroid hormones among other things.

Now the research on the matter only measured estrogens excretion and didn't mention about androgens, but some clearance would be expected.

Apart from that, does it "flush" out of the body some good stuffs that would render it not so beneficial overall? Like vitamins or minerals for example?

Thanks to all chemists aboard! ;-)
