Is CB-1 a scam?

A friend was telling me about it today saying how it helps decrease metabolism to help gain weight. I feel like it is a scam since he saw it from a comercial but i am unsure.

Also first post on here :)

Cb1 is the cannabinoid receptors. It's increased in obese individuals.

Cb1 agonism increases hunger, PPARy expression and weight gain.

Antagonism (rimonbrant,) acts to block that action causing the opposite effect

If looking for a cb1 agonist, anandamide gas been shown to be an endogenous lignand for the cb1. Hard to find it pure. Best bet is to eat a **** load of cacao

Sounds terrible. Just take in more macros when you're insulin sensitive.

It's a huge target for pharma

Cb1 and cb2 act differently with hunger and weight

I've been searching for something for appetite suppression with no weight gain,

An inverse or partial agonist at the cb1 would do wonders for weight loss and vasodilation

though it is not for me, would you recommend anything. My friend has a very hard time gaining weight, he tries to eat more but he just can't.

does it need to be agmatine sulfate or can it be just agmatine. Got like 4 tubs of Biocore agmatine and i could probably lend him some. Unless is biocore agmatine sulfate? The tubs just say agmatine.

Thanks for all the help you have been giving me so far.

Agmatine or agmatine sulfate.

Either should do the job. I'd recommend 500mg 3-4x a day prior to a meal

Some may report a glucose disposal agent makes them hungry this is potentially do to drop in anorexic hormones

So maybe incorporating something as simple as ala (cheap and effective) may do the trick with the agmatine
