Is Ashwaganda better on or off cycle?

I am new to the Ashwaganda hype train and want to try it out this time around.
I like running is everyday, whether on or off cycle. Presently on Shoden ashwaghanda from ND. I've used KSM66, and Sensoril as well, and I enjoy Shoden the best. I take 120mg morning and 120mg before bed. Sleep improves within a couple days of use.

For me it is good for mood and be less reactive, for the study that mention strength and size gain or libido, I never felt these benefit, for athletic performance, libido and energy. shilajit and maral root blow away ashawangha in my experience

Well for now, I think, one of my neighbors has my Ashwaganda lol.
I will definitely take the above advice in mind and try morning and evening doses and other alternative herbs.

Keep in mind the extract of ashwaghanda matters. The three main ones are KSM, Sensoril, and the latest one, Shoden.

How much ash are you guys taking? I tried it years ago but felt like it really did nothing. I bought some KSM66 from Nootropics Depot and took 900mg (three divided doses) 3 times a day. I did this for about 3 weeks and didn't notice a thing and discontinued it.

As to @whoareyou, you can take ash year round with no problems. The studies on it are very good and show some very positive benefits.

What effect are you trying to get from ash? A reduction in cortisol?

I'd recommend reading the examine.com article on it and how it works and what it's meant to do.

Cortisol blocking, sleep enhancement, and cognitive improvement. Pretty much everything that it is being celebrated for helping.
