Ive been reading some studies and such about Arginine and Lysine being effective in boosting HGH. Has anyone tried it?
Beverly has a product with both in it, but i was thinking about getting Lysine and Arginine caps by NOW which are relatively inexpensive.
honestly for dramitic muscle growth not even close. If your worried about money, prioritize things that will get you the most results like creatine and whey. If you want an hgh booster that is effective, you need to get peptides
not especially, i just don't want to use AIs or other hormonal products yet (im 18). im planning to use Mass FX and was wondering if those would be a worthy addon. I guess not.

A 1981 paper, "A Study of growth hormone release in man after oral administration of amino acids": Invalid Link Removed showed that a specific combination of Arginine Pyroglutamate (1200mg) and Lysine HCL (1200mg) in one formula used orally led to a sustained increase in growth hormone release.

A study of growth hormone release in man after oral administration of amino acids.
Isidori A, Lo Monaco A, Cappa M.
A study was carried out in 15 male volunteers to evaluate qualitatively the secretion of growth factors following stimulation by oral amino acids. The results showed that oral administration of a combination of two amino acids (1200 mg 1-lysine plus 1200 mg 1-arginine) provoked a release of pituitary somatotropin and insulin. This phenomenon was reproducible and the growth hormone secreted in response to this stimulation had biological activity (as demonstrated by a radioreceptor assay and somatomedin induction). The effect appeared to be specific to the combination of the two amino acids; neither of the amino acids demonstrated appreciable stimulating activity when administered alone, even at the same doses.

It is important to note, though, that only this specific ratio (Arginine Pyroglutamate (1200mg) and Lysine HCL (1200mg)) appeared to have duplicated the results. Arginine Pyroglutamate and Lysine HCL taken separately, even in large doses, did not seem to produce the same results. Furthermore, other arginine forms failed to produce the same results. The reason appears to be that arginine pyroglutamate (the bonding of arginine to pyroglutamic acid) has a pharmacological action that is not replicated by arginine or pyroglutamic acid when taken individually or together.
Overall, due to differences in metabolism, the results may not be the same for every user. Excellent alternatives to the arginine-pyroglutamate-lysine-HCL option include IGF-2, PowerFULL, Somnidren-GH, and so on.
