Thanks Lean. It looks like the reviews are for the older oral product. I’m guessing the cream is fairly new. Just curious if anyone has used the TD version. Do you know how many pumps come in a bottle?
 
Hm, also in on any information about this.

I asked their customer service, and found this out:

So they don’t know how many “pumps” per bottle exactly, but like the page says it’s 2 pumps per day, each supplying 75 mg of 1-Andro, for a daily total of 150 mg 1-Andro. The bottle should last 2 months at that dose!

For the $45ish that it is on the Labor Day sale, that might be well worth a try for me

I think the above post is correct. 2 pumps was what it was for their new topical 4-andro. I ran it when it first came out a couple months ago and enjoyed it. I would imagine their 1-andro would be no different. I enjoy topical andros. If you get a label that says 6 pumps per dose it’s a mislabel. I contacted them as my 4-andro said this initially. I would however give an edge to iconic alpha four. Just packs more of a punch with the androsterone. I am logging it now and loving it.

Steal right here. I enjoyed the 4-andro from IML but I am currently running alpha four and it’s is substantially better than the solo IML topical 4 andro

Do you attribute that mostly to the inclusion of androsterone or that the carrier from iconic formulations is superior or something like that?

I'm sure that was a mis-type. Big T is always a gentleman and it is never our intentions to put down another company.

I actually promoted your 1 and 4 topicals in the new product thread. Before we released our black series, but while having both topical 4 and 1 under our Alpha Gainz line.

That all said; I do believe our topicals are better. That's just how competition works. Our Icon-One also contains generous doses of DHEA and Pregnalone. Saves on having to buy a T-base both in $$$ and ammount of product you need to apply.

Our Ultrahard boasts 500mg of actives compared to a similar competitor's product that has an undisclosed ammount.

Iron Mag Labs is a well established and well liked company. I dont see why we cant coexist. I just think we're better.

😆 I always enjoy a shameless plug as much as the next guy. My only concern with Icon one is that the 1-Andro dosage is fairly low and there are several other “test base” ingredients in the formula. I’m looking to run Dermicrine and Alpha Four (already in hand) with a max dose of 1-Andro. There is just some overlap with the products I already have.

Why both Alpha Four and Dermacrine? The former will outshine the lanter. I would just buy some oral 4-Andro to up that dose.

I agree that the 1-Andro in Icon-One does look to be on the lower side, but topical greatly increases bioavalability, both by skipping the digestive system but also by utilizing skin enzymes that convert andros to their active forms before absorption. Then there is the synergistic effects with the DHEA and pregnalone combo, and the anecdotal evidence from the years Primordial Performace carried the formula as 1-T, gave a good insight into how well the specific dosage works. And the carrier has been updated since, and is extremely superior to the original.

I suppose the androsterone is what’s making the difference. I enjoyed the IML product like I said. Big fan of topical 4-andro.

I will stagger the products, starting with Dermicrine for 4-5 weeks, then Alpha Four afterwards to finish the cycle. This keeps costs down and like I said earlier I already had it in hand. If money was no object I agree running Alpha four the whole time would be better.

No argument that TD is better bioavailability than oral, but the 1-Andro W Texas A&M study was 330 mg oral, so I’m trying to understand what would be the equivalent TD dosage 150mg (2x better than oral)? 225mg (1.5x better)?

I'm not sure the math on how much more active TD would provide over oral. Maybe @delsolrob can help here.

The Texas A&M study was just plain 1-Andro or did it also have bergamot for dilivery? I dont remember.

Pretty much, if you take the dosage, price and how many doses per bottle they are about equivalent. Adding in the androsterone is fine I guess and inexpensive to do, just not what I wanted in my 1-Andro product.

and btw-there is no androsterone in icon one. but there is dhea and pregnenolone.

TOPICAL DELIVERY SYSTEM

  3. Propylene glycol – is an organic compound that is used 2 primary reasons. First, it has the traits of a humectant; it is able to absorb and help the skin retain moisture. Second, it helps active ingredients penetrate the skin.
  4. Glycerin – when used on skin works as humectant, which is why it attracts moisture onto your skin.
  5. Carbomer – helps to distribute and suspend the active ingredients.
  6. Triethanolamine (TEA) – Helps the water-soluble and oil-soluble ingredients blend better. TEA neutralizes fatty acids and solubilizes oils and other ingredients that are not completely soluble in water.
 
I posted that cause I just realized we never added it to the product pages.

On another note we have an R-Andro cream coming soon and a product called Gear that will be a combo of several Andro’s and arimistane.

DHEA is very inexpensive, sorry that’s what I meant.
 
I am definitely placing an order.

Just hit day 19 of icon one and day 5 of Ultra hard and holy balls! Ultra Hard def made something hard lol and my endurance jumped up like CRAZY! No exaggeration, I have been and endurance athlete forever and I know when things change. Did a Xfit with form workout tonight and ripped through sets back-to-back. I'm shocked at what 4 pumps of icon one and 3 of Ultra hard is already doing and normally takes more time to kick in. Def happy with this stuff 😁

i added in ultra hard on 5th week of 8 week cycle of icon one---BAM, crazy good.
 
Seriously debating between the icon one and IML 1-Andro TD. How much 1-Andro per 5 pumps in Icon One?
 
Okay, I went ahead and ordered 2 bottles of icon one and a bottle of ultra epi. I already have a few bottles of alpha seven.

Quick question - is it okay to apply the ultra epi and the alpha seven over the same application sites? When I get around to running the icon one, I plan to use some of both if it's not a problem with mixing them. I thought about just going with ultra hard, but wanted some flexibility of just using one or the other depending on the cycle.

it isn't recommended to mix different products on same site, but not going to say i haven't done it myself.
