Irish Rugby with Muscle Pharm's Battle Fuel and Bulletproof- Rugby Offseason Training

Sorry to get in the log so late....

I think a CKD is actually pretty easy to follow in terms of holidays because you can load up on a lot of the cheese, olives, meats, etc and not have to worry about it.

I drank a lot of beer... namely Guinness. I did throw some Jameson in there also, but mainly Guinness. There isnt a whole lot thats low carb about Guinness. Anyway, I am finally home and back at work and will be back in the gym tonight. I am pumped to get back into my routine.

I have been off of the BF for the last few days and I have another tub of it, but I am going to use that as a PCT for my H-Drol log I am about to do. I will have updated pictures and everything then. The Battle Fuel was good stand alone, but now I want to check it out as a PCT and see how it does.

Thanks Guys

EDIT* After much deliberation I have decided not to do an H-Drol log and to keep it all natural. So This log is going to continue however, I am going to add Muscle Pharms Assault back into the mix and as soon as the combat comes out I am going to try that too.

Tonight I start back up after my week off of battle fuel. I have noticed some significant strength increases on the week away from it. I hit some PRs on DB bench and have really felt great in the gym.

Day 28:

First Day back on Battle Fuel and it was great.

I had a ton of energy in the gym and I was pumped up and ready to go. I have been missing that for the last week. My strength is still going up too. I hit PR again on DB press yesterday. Repping 95x6 90x6 85x5 80x5. It was a great lift and then Florida kicked the **** out of the Sooners which made my night that much better. I just ordered some Assault and I am going add that into the mix as well. I have about 8 weeks or so before outdoor rugby starts. I am still taking it easy on Incline and shoulders because of my previous rotator cuff injuries and shoulder seperations. I am no doctor, but I am fairly certain that your shoulder shouldnt sound like you are crinkling up a plastic grocery bag ha ha.

Anyway,

Chest:
DB Bench 95x6 90x6 85x5 80x5
Incline Bench 155x6 135x6 135x6 135x8
Cable Low Fly 45x10x4
Push ups 25x4

Shoulders:
DB Front ext \
DB Side ext ------- 17.5 x10 15 x10 12.5 x10
DB Back ext /

DB Shrugs 80x10 75x10 70x10 65x10

Day 29:
I rested and went and had a few beers with my Rugby buddies.

Day 30:
SNOW RUGBY

Got a bloody nose, ripped open my elbow, and vommited after getting hit in the balls really hard.

However, I redeemed myself by stiff arming the **** out of a guy bigger than me and then scoring in his face...

Day 31:
Chest:
DB Bench 100x5 95x5 90x5 80x5
Incline BB 155x5 135x5 135x5 135x5
Cable Low Fly 50x10x4

DB Back ext /

DB Shrugs 85x10 80x10 75x10 70x10

Special thanks to Muscle Pharm for the wrist straps I got in the mail with my fresh order of Battle Fuel. I also got my assault in the mail so I am stacking three MP products at once right now. I forgot how much I loved the feeling I get from Assault.

Bulletproof wielded yet another funky dream were I told my future mother in law off and she left the resturant crying with My Aunt who died almost 3 years ago from cancer. It was all a little too weird.

Anyway, I have arms and back tonight.

Keep the Guinness flowing,

IrishRugby

Had a wedding this weekend, but still got the pump on saturday and sunday. Pushed a little too hard on deadlifts on sunday so my lower back is a little pissed off at me, but in a good way. I am finally getting that good and strong so I dont feel like I am crippled after every scrum down. Got asked of I was on steroids from a teammate on Sunday at the bar while watching the Ravens game and I told him nope just protein and Muscle Pharm products. Adding Assault back to the mix has made a world of difference. I am so focused in the gym and driven to lift as hard as possible.
