Hey guys,
I have been on the forum just cruising for more than a year. Finally decided I would stop creeping and introduce myself. Oh yea and also because I started my first AAS cycle ever 2 weeks ago (currently starting week 3). I"m a 25 years old student writing a thesis in experimental medicine. I'm working with intramuscle lipid accumulation in response to certain peptide, ghrelin more specially for now. I'm 56 foot 182 pounds in pretty low body fat. I also work as a personal trainer in a gym. Forgot to mention I did a major in Kinesiology (for what it's worth...). Played football at college and in pretty athletic, that's why I am not expecting so much with my first cycle as I think I already have reached my full potential.
here is more information about my cycle.
Test e : 250 mg/week. pin on sunday
Npp: 250 mg/week. pin on tuesday and friday
LR3 IGF-1: every day sub q post workout 40mcg. (note that I did not pay for that, someone owed me money and that's the only way he could pay).
AI on hand and tamoxifen and clomid are ready for pct.
I plan on running for 8 weeks.
So far so good, I gained probably 4 pounds of muscle and lost 4 of fat. strength gains are ok but not sure if cause of the AAS or just me putting way more work in my trainings. no side at all for now.
the only thing is: I was pinning only in the gluts (left and right) and I developed a mild infection on the left glut. It's red swollen and hot when touched (surface is about 3 inches by 3 inches) but I have no fever or anything and it's been 3 days since it started (pinned on friday). Should I worry about it?? antibio??
Now on my right glut. It's not red but it is really sore and kind of swollen, like if I had a small ball stock between my muscle and my skin. not too painful but annoying. Is it infection too? I assumed this is from not rotating pin site correctly. yesterday I pinned in the right quad for the first time and everything is good this morning. I wIll of course not be pinning in gluts anymore probably till the really end of the cycle. If anyone has some tips for me it would be great.
I have lots of experience researching in the literature and have access to any journals. I have good training in nutrition and resistance training too and will do my best to share my knowledge.
Thank you all,
F
