Intraworkout drinks necessary?

nothing is really necessary but I have found that sipping eaa or bcaa like purple wraath or xtend makes for a more vigourious powerful workouts and improoves regeneration.

it is expensive but what is not in supplement world

Intra's seem to be more marketing hype than anything, but I can def see where they may be beneficial.

This is an honest question and in no way is meant to bash any company that produces an intraworkout supplement, especially those that sponsor this board.

That said, are intraworkout drinks really necessary or is it more of a marketing thing? I have a preworkout drink and my postworkout shake and water seems to be working fine in the middle there. I'm curious to hear if anybody has noticed benefits to working an intraworkout into their routine.
Thanks!

Lol gatorade has been doing this for years now. I think it is beneficial when you are truly busting your ass. When I did marathon training I needed something more than water in the gym so I didn't pass out so I think it all depends on what your doing.
