Interesting scale numbers....

I know the scale doesn't tell the truth but these numbers are a little odd.

I was about 191-192 morning weight eating about 3,000 kCals a day and my maintenance being 2800 abouts.

So the past two weeks ive been eating 3800 kCals, ive been super duper hungry for whatever reason, and my scale weight has gone DOWN. I count all my calories the same and i only increased the amount of food. I dont understand...... sholdnt my weight be going up either way (fat or muscle)...

Maybe your metabolism is faster than you think it is? If you are basing off of a calorie maintenance calculator, those aren't always right. Or possibly you were in a caloric deficit for a while and now in a surplus causing a super compensative effect that will probably eventually wear off.

Lol hard to say exactly but id be happy getting away with eating all that food! Haha

Any changes to training at all or has that been the same as well? I've gone through stages similar to that when I've switched up my workout routine.

You know I've added a bit.more volume and super sets but still lift compounds pretty damn hard to. I think I squatted for 10 sets the other day. It could be that

Very well may be the case, although when it happened to me it was a very short term thing. Give it another week or two and I bet you start gaining again. Keep us posted!

Will do. Eating 4k a day is tiring lol but so good!

Weigh yourself 3 times a day if you can. Your weight can change throughout the day. It will give you a better average.

I wish I could eat 3800 cals a day... LOL unfortunately, I am not bulking... But nonetheless, I would probably bulk on 3500-3800...

I've done it. For me it's easier to cut then to eat that much. It's easier to do nothing then something :p

I think it would e like stuffing my face!! Lol

Try the scale in the morning, after you use the bathroom and before you eat/drink. There is no point in weigh the intestine/bladder contents + water retention. You'll find out that your weight is stable.

Still, creatine/high sodium diets cand cause some long term water retention which adds extra lbs to the scale.

This is a lot more common than people think, your metabolism is a lot faster than you think! Which is a great thing because now you can eat more haha

I experienced this when i started my bulk as well, up to 4k cals and weight started going down believe it or not. Isn't this stuff so much fun? LOL
