I was referring to more of necrosis of adipose tissue from the depot if not shot deep enough. I'd rather get it in there deep just for good measure.
 
what I am worried about with the ventroglute is that most of my fat is in that area of my body. Its not a lot of fat, but enough. That is why I think a ventroglute shot would need a 1 1/2 like boss k said, as least for me.
 
I am fat there too I have went 1.5 inches in and 1 inch and have seen no difference 1 inch should be fine. Scary place to pin my first time feels like your gonna stick your damn kidney or somethin. :rofl:
 
your kidney is more towards your back though right? The spot is more like underneath your pelvic bone, right? Looks to me like the site is about 2 inches down from the pelvic bone (at its furthest outward) and and inch to the back.

yeah I was just saying it's freaky it's no where near your kidney.
 
imo this site looks the least intimidating. The skin is soft with little nerves/sensory receptors like the butt, yet is much easier to see....I could even use 2 hands to do it.
