I got a box of each today, plus some Dieselade.
All the bars are oily and therefore do not stick to the wrapper, except some of the coconut ones do stick. All came flattened as in the picture but obviously they were not packed like that, they flattened from their own weight and softness. Wrappers may be very difficult to unglue.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough:
Strong vanilla flavor, very tough and chewy, strong presence of sweeteners, strong taste of IMO, strong sweetener aftertaste. Well-flavored chocolate chips.
Coconut Almond Delight:
Faint coconut and almond flavor, strong cinnamon flavor, I'd say 30/20/50% respectively. Not as sweet as the one above but fiber taste just as prevalent. Same intensity of aftertaste. Softer and less chewy.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge:
The hardest and least chewy of all, almost crumbly. A lot less sweet. Not much IMO taste that I can tell. Not much peanut flavor either, maybe 15% but not much fudge flavor either. Least unpleasant aftertaste.
Then I microwaved a piece of each. They all ended up more flavorful, with the coconut one becoming literally a cinnamon bar. Ironically, cinnamon is the only thing I don't like (but I don't necessarily dislike in many applications either).
The closest I can compare them to are the MetRx Prime bars that feature half the fat and whose texture and taste I like better, though they are very bland in comparison, or at least significantly blander than CCCD and CAD. The Coconut Cashew Quest that I once had was infinitely better than any of the Venture bars. I am not the target market for those bars and that is of course ok. They would end up on my 'do not repurchase' list along with the Mission 1 bars.
Plenty of you will like them though, not everyone's taste buds are as sensitive as mine. I'll stick to the Rise and ONE bars: former for taste and texture, latter for taste and macros.
