So I've been taking wellness formula for awhile now and it's been great.. however this past year I've gotten sick a lot like 4-5 times already.. coincidentally I stopped taking probiotics about a year ago (just your standard natures bounty) could this be contributing to me getting sick? Any other go to immune supps besides vitamin C? Thanks for any responses

Swanson Wellcore - A mix of Epicor and Wellmune. Two patented ingrediants, with human studies.

AHCC - over 800 published studies and a go to in Japanese hospitals.

Cordyceps Militaris - high polysaccharide and beta glucan content.

Gaspari Anavite (my personal choice for multi)

Vitamin D3 (a very underutilized supplement in my book)

MAYBE

A Greens supplement

Evomuse Gut Health is #1. #2 is 3-6 grams of Vitamin C every day, with plenty of water. Between the two, I never get sick anymore.

Why is gut health so good for the immune system?

For one, many infections have to enter your system through your gut. If all the "spots" in your gut that bad bacteria can infiltrate are already occupied by healthy bacteria, there are fewer spots for the infection to penetrate.

Also, the newest formula includes ingredients that help thicken the mucus lining in your gut which makes it more difficult for the infection to penetrate.

Also, the "good" bacteria themselves can fight off infection.

I literally haven't been sick in 9 years, coinciding to when I started taking 5-10,000 IU of Vitamin D/day. Just this past weekend, I spent 5 entire days inside a small camping trailer (during the sleeping hours) with a buddy of mine who was sick as shjt with some type of Rhinovirus (no fever). I caught it, but it was gone in like a day and a half. Who knows if/what actually boosts immunity, but I take (things that have been linked to immunity): Swanson Coagulans, Plantarum, and Reuteri pro-biotics, I eat a cup of Oikos Triple Zero Yogurt per day, Sauerkraut, ACV, 10 gelcaps (5/5) of some Walmart (Nature Made, Nature Valley?) Odorless Garlic, and Swanson's Sub-lingual Glutathione. I also eat 99.8% "Clean" and don't drink or smoke. Who knows, give some of those a shot.

Number one favorite is 7-spray from prototype nutrition with Vitamin D. Not sure if it matters as I know many take D everyday whereas I take about 25,000 IU every 3-4 days. Add in Magnesium, Zinc Gluconate, Gut Health (or other HIGH quality probiotic), and if desired superfood green type supplements. As mentioned above, fermented foods and actual fruits and vegetables, are important dietary staples.

If you go the fermented food route, eg sauerkraut etc, make sure its RAW sauerkraut that can be found at basically any health food/organic food market. The average store bought stuff has been processed to within an inch of its life, no pun intended, and thus has very little in the way of beneficial bacteria.

Adding zinc carnosine to the new gut health was an epic addition.

Which product do you use or do you take each strain separately??

Vit C of course boosts the immune system
L-Glutamine boosts the immune system greatly
a greens product like Millennium sport mycogreen-500 powder or mycogreen capsules.
probiotic like gut health or sportbiotic

I take vitamin D3, glutamine and drink kombucha and I'm good. Glutamine is one of the best things for gut/intestines/immune system as it directly feeds enterocytes (intestinal cells). I like MST's Glutamine personally.

Once in a while I take odorless garlic pills and mushroom extracts for a boost.

Any viral infection, besides skin infections:

Ban-Lan-Gen (tea,self dissolving granules,Isatis root)
Sambucus nigra extract (Elderberry)

If taken early cuts flu down to 3 days.
